  1. Nice fish. Did you weightless texas rig the trick worm and add just a nail?
  2. I will be going to Clearwater in early November. Any good bass lakes around there?

    Yes, jump on them!
  4. No swivel. Just had the swimming senko on a 1/8 and 1/4oz weight pegged with a bobber stopper.
  5. There is a lake nearby my house thas has scattered Hydrilla/Milfoil. I'm not sure which species of vegetation it is but I would like to use a technique or lure that would be effective. They are scattered and not overly thick. I tried a swimming senko but I found that they snagged a little too much for my tastes. I know a spinnerbait is an option but I would like to try something else.

You probably have to drill a hole and glue the weed guard on the jig. Probably not worth the trouble.
  7. I've used both companies for hooks and both have been great. I really can't say one if better than the other but I stick with Gama over Owner because it's more readily available, cheaper, and I've never had any problems that some of you guys have had with them.
  8. To each their own then. 110's are my favorite jerkbait and btw they work great.
  9. I've never used the originals but the pro series football jig is my favorite jig. You can get them with silicone or rubber skirts.
  10. It's like someone was looking out for you leaving those worms. Good story and grats on your PB smallie.
  11. Rock bass. There are so many of those in lake michigan.
  12. I've never tried it on tungsten but works great on lead but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to paint it using powder paint.
  13. I acquired lures that need split rings and want to use the same size as the LC's. Definitely not replacing them on the LC baits I have
  14. What size oval and split rings do I need to replace on my Lucky craft baits?
  15. I was actually getting ready to buy some of these. You just saved me a ton of money. thank you
  16. What a pig! Are you trolling for them?
  17. Do you swim it weightless?
  18. They have smallies in Texas. I think the lake is called Texoma.
  19. Thank you, that's good to know since I'm in the market for an accurate scale.
  20. Which certified scale were you using?

It's there to imitate shad. Some shad have a long fin that looks similar to that.
  22. kvd's line conditioner really helps.
  23. At 30-60 ft?!?! Spoons or plastics and a lot of patience while they sink. SOB lures has the mini mes which is a small profile spinnerbait but weighs in 1 1/4oz for deeper water presentation.
  24. small spinnerbaits and small swimbaits.
