  1. They run true out of the package, and boy howdy are those hooks sharp!
  2. For your "education"
  3. These are brand new to the market, have SUPER sharp hooks, and best of all, are surprisingly affordable. Incredible! https://americanbaitworks.com/collections/rad-series-hard-baits
  4. Thank you sir! I've had a few people bash me in the video comments and in social media over the video. Why? I don't know. I'd think most people would be happy to learn they don't need to take out a loan to get quality gear. But I guess not. I removed the comments. It's fishing. Fishing is supposed to be fun. Those people can take their negativity elsewhere.
  5. Correct, and that's why it "works" as a line conditioner - with a BIG CAVEAT! The solvent softens the outer layer of the line, thus making it more pliable and easier to handle. HOWEVER, that process also DAMAGES the outer layer and ends up stripping it off in chunks over time. Thus, IT WEAKENS THE LINE!
  6. Remember, you can enter every day for the best chance of winning!
  7. When I was at the Classic this year, 10-15 different lithium battery companies were represented. The list keeps growing every month. All make claims theirs is "the best". But clearly, that's not the case. I'm holding off on these batteries until the oil and water separate, and there's a clearer picture of who are truly the top dogs. I've even turned down 3 brands so far that have wanted to advertise because I can't confirm their claims, and I won't endorse a brand I don't have confidence in.
  8. We're still getting folks having this issue. Some are creating new profiles - that's not allowed and only creates even more issues. Please check your profile NOW and ensure your email and password are current. Thanks!
  9. In 2018 and again in 2020, my neck of the woods got hit by the same thing. Lung-choking smoke for months. The smoke came from both Canada and California wildfires. In August 2020, the AQI hit 500 - the highest they can measure. It was above that, but they don't know by how much. While it's bad for you guys, wait until it pegs the 500 mark. Then you'll wish you had what you have now.
  10. West coast MLF pro Cliff Pirch, who dominated tournament in Arizona by fishing the dropshot, unloads a knowledgebase of information for summertime dropshotting!
  11. Just click "submit form", it will work.

  17. Hey guys, I admit, after a long day of fishing, my feet are sore! They just hurt for several hours after I get off the water. So I've been trying different shoes to try to solve the problem. Simms sandals - excellent for hot weather. They have great arch support. Problem solved. However, in not-so-hot weather, I'm still troubleshooting. Hoka One shoes - I was told they're "like walking on pillows". NOPE! I have to take them off in just a few hours. Huy Dude shoes - I've worn them around a bit, and so far so good. But I haven't tried them yet for a full day of fishing. They seem to lack arch support like the Simms, so I'm hesitant to try. But they seem they might work. Asics work the best so far, but even then, my feet still hurt - a lot - at the end of a long day. I'm considering trying nurses shoes or something similar. But before I do, I want to know what works for you. Let's hear it!
  18. Here ya go!
  19. I have looked into your question about BasiX having more stretch than some of Seaguar's other fluorocarbon lines. It is true. Per Seaguar testing, BasiX does have more stretch. Of all the fluoro lines Seaguar makes, BasiX has more stretch to make it a little more like monofilament for folks who are used to fishing mono. It's also softer and very castable for easy casting. The focus of Seaguar BasiX is targeting the millions of anglers who are either fishing for the first time, getting reacquainted with the sport or managing a tight budget. It is designed to offer Seaguar performance at a price everybody will love.
  20. Depends on what you want to do. AbrazX is a durable line designed for fishing heavy cover, rocks, etc. where nicks and line abrasion are a concern. Great for flipping and pitching. InvizX is a workhorse, all-purpose line you can use for a variety of cover and situations. It's easier to cast than AbrazX.
  21. Suzuki SS has great fuel economy too! https://www.suzukimarine.com/outboards/ss-series/
  22. That's actually the owner of the company in that video. He wanted a retro-80's feel to go along with the brand name. Nailed it. LOL! Would you be surprised to learn I minored in photography and won a few awards for my darkroom techniques? No, not THAT darkroom! Get your mind out of the gutter! LOL
  23. These hunt fish! https://americanbaitworks.com/collections/rad-series-hard-baits
