  1. Since I beat cancer, I'm back at it every weekend again, at least one day of the weekend, often both. But I don't fish all day like I used to. 4-6 hours is about right and gives me time to do other things too. Life is good.
  2. Is that a Siberian? As far as I know, only Siberians sleep like that. We have one, that's how I know.
  3. Odd. I fish a lake full of filamentous algae and don't have that problem with the free rig. I don't know what the difference is - what I'm doing different from you. But here's my video showing how I fish it. Maybe you can spot the difference?
  4. That's appropriate. They destroyed a healthy trophy fishery and turned it into a mud pit.
  5. Sikaflex 292i. The stuff is bullet-proof. Once cured, the material can only be removed mechanically. https://usa.sika.com/en/industry/global-industry-content-pages-to-keep/commercial-vessels/elastic-sealing-bonding/watertight-sealingbonding/sikaflex-292i.html
  6. @Columbia Craw Are you talking about Silver Lake? You know, the one that used to pump out 8-pounders routinely before "sterile" carp were introduced? Those carp were supposed to have a max life expectancy of 20 years. They were introduced 30 years ago. Today, the lake is overrun with carp, and the entire ecosystem has been ruined. "Sterile"? There's no such thing! A colossal screw-up.

  9. Thanks guys! Glad you like it!
  10. LOL! We did look like a bunch of keystone cops while that bass weaved in and out of those docks and boats. But the credit really belongs to Kent, who remained calm and collected the entire time.
  11. Who netted it? C'mon! WHO netted that beast?

  14. Top pro John Crews took me out on his boat to show us a lure he uses to catch stubborn bass!
  15. Looks like a LiveTarget frog
  16. Dropshot and bullet sinkers have too much friction to be effective free rig baits. I get mine from Tackle Warehouse: https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/descpage-RTGSHS.html?from=BASRES They work great!
  17. Here ya go! btw @osummerer23 Welcome back!
  18. I don't use leaders. Problem solved.
  19. Why yes, yes we do have articles about filamentous algae. Several, in fact... https://www.bassresource.com/fish_biology/algae_control.html https://www.bassresource.com/fish_biology/algae_plant.html https://www.bassresource.com/fish_biology/algae-control-spring.html https://www.bassresource.com/fish_biology/pond-scum-11.html
  20. Congrats. Kraken almost became only the 2nd team to make it to divisional in their 2nd year. Nobody thought they'd be in the playoffs, let alone go this far. They laid the gauntlet down and served notice! Look out next season!
  21. Thanks guys. I just had somebody message me and say "This deserves video of the year!" Wow! I'm glad it's helping so many people!
  22. Everything I use and wear - and why - are outlined here:
  23. If you're new to bass fishing, limited on storage space such as kayak or shore fishing, or just downsizing, this video lays out exactly what you need to have!
  24. THIS TEAM IS RELENTLESS!! GAME SEVEN COMING YOUR WAY.
