  1. I believe they've addressed the issues about line breakage and knot strength.
  2. If you're used to InvizX, I suggest you stick with it. BasiX does have more stretch. Of all the fluoro lines Seaguar makes, BasiX has more stretch to make it a little more like monofilament for folks who are used to fishing mono. It's also softer and very castable for easy casting. The focus of Seaguar BasiX is targeting the millions of anglers who are either fishing for the first time, getting reacquainted with the sport, or managing a tight budget. It is designed to offer Seaguar performance at a price everybody will love. Hope that helps!
  3. Enter now through Monday. Don't forget to enter every day for the best chances! https://www.bassresource.com/giveaway/spring-baits.html

  5. I'm not talking about when it first came out, I'm talking about recently. Seaguar Basix
  6. Hey guys, I sat down with Elite pro John Crews and asked him what his favorite topwater Spring baits are and why, and this is what he said:
  7. It wasn't me. It was some college-age dude riding too fast for his skills. Dang near face-planted!
  8. ^^ THIS!!! ^^ That's what I was trying to say earlier, but you nailed it!
  9. My great-grandparents traveled on a ship from Sweden to Ellis Island. My grandfather was the personal hunting guide for Calvin Coolidge. I have his binoculars in the original leather carrying case, and his spurs.
  10. Thank you! But you haven't seen me play football...
  11. Geeze, some of you that are old enough to remember seem to forget about the 80s when the inflation rate hit nearly 15% - more than double the current rate. We all made it though. It's not fun, but we'll be fine. That said, most restaurants in my area offer $25/hr starting, with instant vacation, benefits, and tuition pay, and they STILL can't find workers!
  12. If you've been fishing long enough, it's happened to you. Here are three true stories that happened to me!
  13. Done! I merged the old one with your new one. Not everything will transfer at once. It will gradually occur in the background.
  14. Now THAT'S a birthday worth celebrating! She earned it!
  15. The mainanence costs aren't any different than any other new engine on the market today, plus Suzuki engines have always been competitively priced.
  16. I mean, wow!! https://www.suzukimarine.com/outboard/ss-series/df250atssw/
  17. And there you go. Nothing more than (more) click-bait from RB. And scene...
  18. Yes, tube baits work for largemouth too! Here's some cool tricks from Classic contender Pat Schlapper
  19. Hey Folks- As you know, our moderator crew is not large, nor do the names change often. The fact this small team is so solid is one of the reasons behind the success of these forums. That is why it's difficult to announce that @J Francho will be stepping down as a moderator. However he's not leaving us! During the 13 years as a moderator, John has married, moved, started a family, and more recently, connected with his biological family. That's a lot on his plate. Something had to give, and family take priority (as it should), so John will be stepping back from his duties here. Before he does, he will ensure a successful transition to a new moderator. Which brings me to my next announcement. I'm excited to announce that @12poundbass is joining the moderator crew! The moderators unanimously agreed he'd be a great moderator, and Jeremy graciously accepted. He is a well-seasoned veteran of these forums with a healthy respect for others and the desire to share his knowledge. We know he’ll make a great addition to the moderator crew! Please take a moment to welcome him to his new position!
  20. If a woman is always right, and a man always wrong, then if a man tells a woman she is right, is he right or wrong?
  21. 50? More like 150! LOL I have around 25 in my boat right now. Below is a pic of the ones in my garage (I have no idea how many there are), and that doesn't count the dozens of rods I've had through the years since my teens that I've sold, given away, or broken. I need a bigger boat. LOL!
