  1. I use InvisX on my Senko rod. 15lb all the way (not as a leader). I haven't noticed any issues with abrasion, but then again, we don't have zebra mussels in my area. I really like the line. It doesn't have that coil memory that other FC lines have.
  2. I have one, and have no issues recommending it. Smooth casts, works for both light and heavy lures, and is strong enough to winch them out of the heavy stuff. It's a light reel and easy-to-palm. As a few have said, the first time setting it up is a bit cumbersome due to the need to remove the plate to set the pins, but there's a ton of Shimano reels with the same system. Once you set it up, you forget about it. I'm really happy with mine, and I'm sure you will be to!
  3. Absolutely! Yes, you need - no MUST - harvest in a small pond. Otherwise you'll get a ton of stunted, small bass. You also need to balance the forage as well. We have a ton of information on this here: http://www.bassresource.com/lake-management/ Read up!
  4. I never use a trailer hook, and don't have any issues with short strikes. If a fish is following, but not biting, change the blade color. If that doesn't work, change the skirt color. I always use trailers too.
  5. Hey that's my sister you're talking about!
  6. Very shocking and very sad news indeed - especially for his family. We will all miss him very much.
  7. I don't think that question deserves a response. It's rhetorical. If something attacked you (no matter what it was), naturally one would defend himself with whatever means available.
  8. I'm stunned. What a terrible loss for his family.
  9. Ok, I'll look into it further.
  10. Make your selection, then click "Save" at the bottom of the page where you made your selection. I know...intuitive.
  11. Correct. However, this is where the OP posted it. Had I moved it to the correct forum, he would've thought this, too, was deleted, and would not have seen the answer.
  12. Hey guys, stick to answering the OP's question. The mind-numbing banter about other brands is annoying and pointless, and has nothing to do with his question.
  13. Your questions were posted in the wrong forums. They were moved in order to help get more responses. They're right here: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/164959-quantum-reels/ http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/164881-looking-to-buy-hand-poured-plastics/ http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/164585-drag-going-out-of-my-revo-winch/ Thanks for asking.
  14. No one really knows for sure what causes them. There's a school of thought that says there's a connection between increased catch-n-release and the blotching, but so far there is no conclusive evidence. Some think it's related to pollution, but again, no conclusive evidence supports that theory. One thing that is certain, it's not a disease nor parasite; and there's no indication the fish is dangerous to handle or eat.

  22. Yes, yes. They're eating humans. That's exactly what he said. We're food.
