  4. Structure Bug all the way! I've been using them for about a year now (Big-O was kind enough to send me pre-production models), and I fished them extensively through the spring/summer/fall with great success. Ya, they can tear up a bit, but when you use this trick, they tend to last a little longer. Nothing can beat the action nor colors of this bait.
  5. That's so funny! My wife and I always say, "Mine! Mine! Mine!" - a direct quote from that clip - when some little fish grabs the tail of our bait, or big group of small fish (like perch or fingerling bass) follow our bait back the boat. Funny you posted it here.
  6. Then you need to post your entry here: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/154199-official-bbwc-bonus-entry-thread-win-50000/ Good luck!

  8. Good to have you back Brian!
  9. Here's a video that explains how to adjust your reel properly using multiple braking systems: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/cast-adjust-baitcast.html
  10. Here's a great article on the topic: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/bass_tournament_strategies.html
  11. 1. Check to see if there's a pin (about the size of a wooden dowel) inserted near the bottom of the ball, on the side closest to the boat. Pull that pin out if it's there (you may have to remove a cotter pin first). Sometimes a trailer lock is inserted there in lieu of the pin. 2. Slide the button, AND THEN lift the "lid" while holding the button to the side. You should then be able to crank the trailer off the ball using the attached trailer jack. Hope that helps!
  12. Here's a video that covers more ways to prevent line twist that aren't mentioned in this thread: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/line-twist-spinning-reel.html

  20. ^^ Agreed ^^ I learn a thing or two from these as well. For example, in episode 4, I learned a great new way to fish swimbaits. Can't wait to try it out! Episode 4 can be watched from the same link above: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/project-z-bait-challenge.html Just look for it in the menu beneath the video on the page.
