  7. Now wait a minute. If I read that right, they're still making it, just not marketing it. Correct? If that's the case, then they need to repackage it and sell it to a different market - perhaps as a snack item instead.
  8. That's an old school tactic that doesn't work now, due to Google's duplicate content penalty; and especially so with the recent Panda update.
  9. We have a "Grand Slam" trophy in our bass club. It's 5 species: Largemouth, Smallmouth, Walleye, Perch, and Crappie - all must be "trophy sized" (i.e. meet minimum weight limits, which are pretty hefty). All must be caught in public waters within the state boundaries. There is no time limit to catch them all. To date, only one man has achieved it in the club's 73 year history. It took him many years to accomplish.

  12. Thanks folks, the mods & I really appreciate it. But as I've stated before, it's YOUR participation that makes these forums so great. It'd be very boring if nobody showed up. We'd be sitting here all by ourselves! LOL. We merely provided the platform for you all to use. YOU are the reason these forums - and this site - are what it is. YOU are the life and soul of this site. YOU make it happen! Y'all are great!
  13. YouTube encodes videos for several different connection speeds, and auto-serves you the file they feel is the "correct" file for your connection speed (often erroring on the low side, thus serving a lower-quality video than you're capable of viewing). We don't have anything as sophisticated as that. We're just redneck fishermen. LOL! But you can view some of the videos on our YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/bassresource.com Not all of our videos we have here are over there, due to YouTube limitations. But at least there's enough there to keep you busy for awhile.
  14. Call them and find out. If they're a "big" company, they may not even be aware of it.
  15. WOW! Glad to have you back! We have you been?!
  16. That pond is definitely out of balance, which is very common. It's time to thin the herd. Keep everything you catch.
  17. It won't affect me. Hoping it will cut down on the waterskiiers and jetskiiers though.
  18. Don't know. It's outside of my realm. Sorry.
  19. We don't optimize for Chrome, so you're out of luck there. I've tested them on various computers/connections using both IE and Firefox. The issue you're noting is due to 3 possible causes: 1. Slow internet connection (DSL or slower) 2. ISP connectivity issues. 3. Older computer Since they are working for most people, those are the most likely reasons. Although it's possible that you could have many programs/applications running at the same time, which will eat up a lot of memory and CPU power. There could be a bunch of programs that are needed but launched at startup.
  20. Visualize this: Say you're walking down the sidewalk on the right-hand side of the road. If the road curves to the right, you'll be on the "inside curve". If the road curves to the left, you'll be on the "outside curve". Hope that helps!

  23. Pencil us in for the 30th.
  24. Pffft! No need to hide anything. We fish together ALL the time, and often share tackle. She spends more on tackle than me! ;D
