Boy I know how THAT feels! Last year, we got hit over and over again with snowstorm after snowstorm. It seemed like it would never go away. The worst storm was when we were getting 10" of snow every 4 hours. My neighbor, who moved here from Minnesota, said he'd never seen anything like it. Somebody made mention about checking on your neighbors, and that's sage advice. Lot's of heart attacks, strokes, and heat exhaustion victims out there from shoveling snow too hard. Take it easy out there guys. Rest and drink plenty of fluids if you're out there shoveling!

The Happiest States in America
Mine's towards the bottom. No surprise with all the rain here. Plus we just "won" the "worst traffic" award for the entire country. Oh joy.

Thief
Yes, I had to verify whether or not this was about The_Natural. I've since validated it, and subsequently banned him. I've also removed all his threads in the Flea Market and archived them for safekeeping. I expect to get a call from the authorities any time now, asking for evidence.

47 and cloudy in my neck of the woods. They're predicting rain tomorrow (oh surprise, surprise). Hope you guys stay warm and safe, and remembered to wrap your hose faucets! Stay indoors tomorrow, pig out on beer and pretzels, watch the games, and check in here to let us know how you're doing.

Predictions for 2010
What are your bass fishing predictions for 2010? What do you think we'll see in the realm of product innovations in reels, rods, lures, depthfinders, boats and engines? Do you think the next world record will be broken in 2010? Who will win the Classic? Will the Charlie Moore show finally get pulled? ;D Tell us! Inquiring minds want to know!

new BPS carbonlite rods LOL
Well guys, if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all. Personally, I don't give a rip who's "more qualified" than the other, or who's "right" or who's "wrong". I suspect it doesn't matter to anyone else either. So let's drop it and move on. Thank you.

new BPS carbonlite rods LOL
That's a troll if I ever saw one. C'mon man. Be real. If you like a particular type/brand of something, then please say so and state why. But to do so in the context of knocking the competition doesn't provide much info nor credibility. I encourage you to speak about the positive experiences and attributes of the things you like. But please refrain from painting competing brands in a negative light. That's a drag, and only upsets people, not help them.

brand loyalty and the purchase decision
I think the point here is that - for whatever reason - some people prefer brand X over brand Y. No big deal. Why should everyone like the same brand anyway? That would be....dull. However, to the extent people get into a catfight over which is better is absurd. It is, after all, just fishing. If you like brand Y, great! Let's hear why you like it. But please refrain from bashing brand X in the process. That's all I ask. Thanks! Glenn

Need help from the computer gurus
Agreed dick is da man. He can help you. Hopefully you have backed up your data sometime during the last 12 months. Then it's just a matter of grabbing your pst from backup, renaming it, and importing it into Outlook. I'd rename it so that you won't overwrite your current e-mails when you import it.

You're Invited to the 5th Annual BassResource.com Roadtrip!!!
What those guys said. There's no out-of-hand drinking, so no worries. I like a glass of fine wine every now and then or an occasional mix drink, but nothing in excess.
