I typed in three different Locations , Louisiana , Maryland , and California ..... All three had pretty much the same exact graph itd be hard to tell the difference , All 3 peaked around 6 am and 6 pm which is a general rule of thumb

I try to set aside 100 bucks a month for fishing stuff because if i dont limit myself ill go crazy even though I go over most of the time anyway, I was thinking about heading out to BPS since i have my rewards card there i try to buy as much as i can there , I was thinking of getting some of the new rage tail stuff if they have any in i really wanna try the new anacondas,

I fished Texas rigged lizards all day with 10 pound spiderwire on my casting set up , with a 6'6 M/F all star graphite rod, worked fine with me , prob not the correct set up but i made due,

Works great actually tried it out today for the first time worked like a charm ,sumtimes they just suck em down

Well I am orginally from Maryland but I go to school in Louisiana but due to the hurricane im home for about a week , During the summer me and my buddy fish his private pond behind his house, Its quite a big pond we have access to a canoe with trolling motor and we get around it pretty well. When I came back this weekend I realized that the water was a lot lower than normal and very very clear. Come to find out it hasnt rained in quite awhile , Over the last few days ive caught quite a bit of fish they seem to be biting more than normal but I found one thing disturbing, I caught about Five fish that were decent size they had a big head and all that but the body of this fish was super skinny like i could see the bones, I hadnt seen this before. It looked almost like a dog that was starvin i could see the outline of their back bone and all that . All of the fish that were caught like this were in one area of the pond , Half of the pond is surrounded by boat docks and houses the other half is surrounded by trees and cat tails. All of the sick lookings fish were caught on the side with houses. Im no expert so i was just wondering if you think there is something wrong with the pond or if it not healthy.

Wow thanks for all the great responses , havnt got a chance to fish much due to the storm coming and all that. Keeping my fingers crossed that it wont be too bad. I did meet one guy from the new orleans area that offered to take me out there and catch some redfish , from what ive heard that is a great sport fish as well. So far im loving it the weather is great a little hot but itll be awesome in november im sure, A few great things ive already realized about Baton Rouge is football game was awesome ! And there are so many fishing shows on the local cable networks which we dont have in maryland and Bass Pro and Cabelas are both within a ten to 15 mile drive so thats always a plus!

Question is ,,,,, Is there a world record bass still out there ?

I'm orginally from the Eastern shore of Maryland but , I have recently moved to Baton Rouge for college, It was tough leaving all my fishing holes at home and boat access. But , Im excited im sure this area has a lot of promising fishing spots. I'm living with a family in a golf course community with quite a few ponds, I havent got to all of them yet and some are blocked off by houses. But the two I have spent a little bit of time fishing were a little hard to figure out but once i did i started catching some small bass here and there but I'm not sure theres a whole lot of big fish in there. Just feeling kinda lost in new territory wondering if anyone from the area knew any decent spots , I can throw my line, As i said no boat access but i dont mind driving or walking a little to get there , Thanks in Advance!

I am Left handed in everything writing throwing eating , I do it all left handed but, i honestly feel so much more comfortable using a RH set up. Seems like a lot less work and just more comfortable.
