  7. Hey Fellas: I asked Paul Robets about this already, he is great at questions like this just want to hear other's take on these 2 questions: On Mauch Chunk the wind gerally goes in a different direction from the current of the water. The Bearm( dam) being on Boat Launch a side of the lake and the wind generally goes form Ramp B to Ramp A side of the lake. Mind you the current is not hat strong my question is Why does the water always look like its going the other way, on the top layer? For real me and Bruce ( the other 1/2 of 2 mooks in a boat) were talking about this , it is something we both noticed but never discussed. Is it possible, though the wind is never strong , it is steady could the top lets say 2 fee tactually be going the other way of the current? It is also between 2 somewhat steep mountains ( not Rocky standard but Pocono Standards) and once the sun goes down, the wind almost always stops, Whats up with that?

  14. Plastic worms and the #11 Original Floating Rapala ( silve 01) have been my most productive lures of all time. I caught my first bass on artificals, back in the early 60's on that Rapala and have caught fish on it every since!

  23. Hey Micro: Cosmetically it looks like the BPS NITRO was a "knock off" of this, but it got on the market first! Different colors but the side plates, handle drag and spool tension knob all look pretty similar. One less bearing kinda like the difference between the old Prop Qualifier and the Supreme We kind of suspected it was happening soon. I have stated I fish with a lot of fellas this way that are major Pflueger Fans, and our local reel shop guy said it would happen after the new year. Cabelas put the old presidents on sale for 109 in the bargin cave 3 weeks ago to make room for the newer version. If the upgrade the Trion I am gonna stockpile a couple of the older ones if they discount them, as I am more than satisfied with the current model. ABU once again became the industry leader for design, as first Shimano now Pflueger are getting their profiles more in line with the Revo!
  24. Tower of Power are one of three major bands to come from Okland in the late 60's 1. Santana: did their first tour with TOP. Needless to say Carlos's vison of blending Salsa,Jazz , Blues and R&B was a groundbreaking and lasting idea, they are still at it too. 2. Sly and the Family Stone: Larry Graham, their bass player put slap and pull plucking on the map.Sly was one of the first bands to feature an interracial lineup with both male and female musicans. 3.Tower of Power: HORN SECTION...no need to say more. Among them, professors of music and Emillio who is one of the heat beats of R& B and still going strong. This band has a history of some of the greatest drummers in the field; Garabaldi , Chambers and Thompson to name just 3. 8-)
