Just back from fishing will put a report up. Last night sucked!!!!!! First time in 2 years all I caught was one fish, just when my confidence was getting there: BASSIN CAN HUMBLE YOU> Anyway me and Steve just finished slaughtering them today ' Initial bite; Off the old creek bed in 12 ft of water , near a weed bed, started with 1/4 ounce fottball Jig, with a Pumpkin *, bite so so, RAN OUT OF *< ( have to oreder more tonight!) Switched to a brown Slider head jig and an *** Pumpkin Beaver Craw, the bigger one>>>HOLY CRAP, they were killing it on the initial fall, all day!!!!!!!!! We boated a lot of fish many over 14 inches, 2 15's and one 17 1/2 NICE DAY AT THE CHUNK One bass hit Steves jig hard, and as he was bringing it in, the fish jumped and threw the jig, then as he was cussin and reeling it back THE FISH HIT IT AGAIN!!!!! Never saw that what a jig before. Froggin is gonna have to wait, going night fishing this week

Used Zels Aqua Veiw Camera and couldnt find it, may dive next week, 50buck fine for swiming any place but the beach!!!!!!!!!! I am leaning to the Trion I still have left, think its better than the Extreme SPINNING REEL, But those Extreme BC's Rock and wait to you feel how nice they balance with the Fish Eagle II, and they feel more than sensitvie enough for me

Hey Fellas: Roadwarrior and a Zel were bustin on me for doing this BUT IT WORKS! I was using some ShakeyHead 2 Jig heads and some Fottbal jig heads and Grubs a couple of weeks ago, and ran outta grubs. So I put on a Brown * by *** aka Fat Ika by Yammamoto and used it as a jig body. The Ika and Wayne are both shapped like a grub except they have a skirt on the rear and are a lot thicker. The fish jumped em right away, I think on certain days the wider profile of the bait is a key difference. Now Zel and RW both were quick to say Theyare supposed to be dead sticked with EWG hooks, both of them put them on backwards with the skirt end on top. I have used them this way sucessfully ( both brands) , especially for smallies. Zel was surprised to see how quick it put a fish in the boat ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE DOING THIS?

Hey Fellas: Not saying that either of those brands are unsatisfactory, but I found myself using other rods and reels and by chance have found the best set ups i have ever used Cabelas put their old Fish Eagle II's on sale and I bought one and before they went off sale I switched out all my rods I LOVE THESE RODS, perfect fit and weight for me!! I also went to all BPS Extreme reels , bait casting and one spinning. Baitcasting offering more bang for the buck, especially when the go on sale for 59 bucks! I have one round BPS PRO Qualifier i use for Cranks and thats it ! PS One Fish Eagle II/Prodigy combo lies on the bottom of Mauch Chunk Lake. I was setting up the cast contol knob and flipped a small jig in the water, as the depth finder was acting koo kko, so I put the rod down to see what was up and a fish hit it and out and down it went!!!!! > > :o
