  1. A word to the fellas out there any post on any type of tackle, rods or reels that starts with I NEVER USED IT, is read conjecture and opinion, bad way to go. I only put creedence in posts by fellas who say AFTER USING THIS PRODUCT.......
  2. Hey Blue Streak: Something not mentioned here yet. Especially in and around cove. If you get a blow up but miss a Jitterbug strike, always have another rod with a worm 9 I like to use a trigged/weightless rig. Throw it a little beyond where you got the missed hit and slowly work it, you know there is an aggressive fish there and frequently the worm will do the trick.
  3. Since I always have to be at work for these, and by the way Ice Storms have been becoming more of a repeating event on the Eastern side of PA :-[ I always am in a place that has generators, food and all that. The main worry here is if it goes on two long we have around 600 kids and we have to always keep our heads and make good decisions. While we have good plans, each storm brings it's own challanges and some of the best laid plans need to be altered.
  4. Did you find the Zatarian's Hush Puppy mix? PM on the way
  5. Don't be surprised if you find them on forums such as this. It is part of their strategy!
  6. WOW FELLAS: 2 snow storms an ice storm now a Nor Easter heading our way! I am the lead person on center this Mon and Tues as I have been for all the other storms I have been working from 3am to 5pm almost daily! I am getting frayed. Every decision at work is reviewed by 5 people and one of them is always n disagreement , it's like having 5 wives sometimes :-/

  8. Gee I wonder if this would work in Salt Water up here for Tiger Sharks , let's say Throwing a Cajun overboard off the Long Island Blight
  9. Catt; I think that making a bait stand out is one of the most important things I have learned. If I can convince that fish, that the bait I am throwing is the easiest meal on the lake, that fish will have a short visit to my boat!
  10. Thanks, I asked because a few times this past season I hit the edge of a flat where it takes a deep nose dive. I noticed that at 6 to 8pm the action was poor , but after 10pm the spot was a producer. The puzzle part is the first time was deep into June and the later date was in early Sept..
  11. That should take about 1/2 an hour, what's up for the rest of the day<
  12. This is why a lot of Italian Men grow mustaches, to look like their moms

  14. Hey Catt: If you are fishing a spot that you know should produce and it doiesn't will you hit it again during the trip, let's say on the way back?
  15. I missed them when they were on sale for 99 bucks, the sale and available funds were not there. Those Prodigy Rods feel great, and seem well made. I prefer cork straight handles and they are made with foam/split grips :-[
