  1. That is not even remotely the experience that I've had at hamburg Cabelas and the Harrisburg BPS. I never feel like cabelas has anywhere near the selection that BPS does. Like others said, they have better clothing and whatnot but as far as tackle selection goes I'd take BPS any day. Cabelas does have a few things that BPS doesn't have but for the most part BPS has much more to offer IMO. You sure your going into Cabelas or the Dunkin Donuts outside? I am there a lot and their reel selection is extraordinary I have not been to BPS a fraction of the time, They didn't even have the new BPS Pro Qualifier the last time I was there, and they had been on the market for over a month!
  2. Hey Kb check this out. Last year, after Jan.1 Cabelas starting charging sales tax also here. IT WAS THE STATE! Check this out, in PA if you have a Cabelas or any other vendor that has a retail outlet in the state , we now have to pay tax ordering over the net! I am thankful Cabelas is so close because I don't pay shipping anymore I co ordinate orders when I am going to the store and pick my Internet orders up at the store and shipping is free that way
  3. Thanks Ryan, but I am flush rod and reel Wise 8-)e. I know you, you will find a kid who needs it 8-)
  4. This is something better done in person and with and from someone you know. I am scared this is going to lead to a battle.
  5. I haven't been to the other store , so I can't compare. Please note that if you want to check a few rods out, call ahead of time ( bout 5 days notice) just give them your name, when you arrive at the store go to the service desk and check them out there I have never been in that store once without the reel dept being completely stocked and I am there over 20 times a year! Next time you come this way, drop me a pm and bring a rod, a few good ponds and the Littl Skcukill ( SMALLIES) close by Dominick

  13. Quote/question fro bassnblvd: Do you use Charmin to wipe your ars or the cheap sanpaper type that is half the price. If you must know; I sit backwards on the bowl and use the bidet, I find it so much more refreshing
  14. I hope their bass baits are not like what they call Muskie baits, because GSI makes some pretty disappointing Muskie Baits
  15. SEE KITTENS!!! This is what happens when you put kittens in a blender and forget to put the lid on when you start it OH LOOK< SEE THE KITTENS on the walls on the ceiling on the floor
  16. Hey Fellas: As many of you know, every year We try to set a few fellas up, just coming into recovery, or getting out of incarceration. We do this to try and help these fellas enjoy a little positive recreation Last year we were able, by the end of the season to outfit some 14 people. THIS PROVED TOO MANY!!! The guts of this program is to get a new guy out in a boat ,several times throughout the season with a fella who has been clean and out of jail for many years, in your layman's terms a sort of mentor. We can not do this , with more than 5 new guys , so we are scaling it back to 5, If you can help this is what we need: 4 inexpensive/used SPINNING RODS 4 inexpensive/used SPINNING REELS hooks and bobbers some cheap top water and cranks Any kind of tackle bag/box WE DO NOT NEED ANY PLASTICS AS BRENT FROM *** ALREADY TOOK CARE OF THET THANKS ONCE AGAIN BRENT!!!!!!!! I already bought the first combo, to start this year off. 8-) If you would like to send somethingPM me, Thanks Dominick aka MUDDY THANKS TO ALL OUR NEEDS HAVE BEEN MET FOR THIS YEAR. PICTURES TO FOLLOW IN EARLY JUNE OF THE FELLAS YOU HAVE HELPED ON THE WATER.
  17. BRILLIANT: YOU HAVE COME UP WITH A PLAUSIBLE ANSWER. IT SEEMS THAT A LOT OF LOST BASE BALLS SOMEHOW ROLLED INTO MONTGOMERY LAKE, AND THAT BASS ATE THEM, ACCOUNTING FOR IT'S UNUSUALLY HIGH WEIGHT
  18. Is that the team that got evicted from Seattle?
  19. Thanks Hook, Where did you get that from? I know the PAc 10, Sec and Acc all had their dominant times I am trying to see how well , historically the Big East matches up in both final 4 and championships. I really see them getting their shot at dominating the brackets for a run, real soon!
  20. Hey Marty: What year did CCNY win the NCAA Tourny? I have googled for a list and can't find any
  21. Marty I have to check that, I believe he was not a head coach, but he may have worked the Big East beofre going over to ACC I may be wrong, I got this from my cousin Sal, he knows the bIg East like no other, but I may have it wrong.
