PLASTIC vs WOOD PLUGS
Hey Fellas: I had an interesting conversation yesterday in the early evening evening with an older gentleman named Mr.Sam. He fishes only plugs and plastic worms with jig heads, but he is the best plug fisherman I know I told him of my plan to ditch all my plastic baits for wooden ones ( I was gonna have a few Wood Jitterbugs Carved) and he just nearly laughed me out of the coffee spot we were at. He said he has seen me working Jitterbugs on Mauch Chunk and it's a lure not used much around here and he was surprised at my success with them. He said I should not be paying attention to what they are made of but I should be paying attention to my results As we talked he was all about getting to know how to master 5 plugs, covering all the depths of water I fish, and let the results speak for themselves. He was just like the really successful fellas here KISS: First you gotta find them then put a bait in front of them 8-)

You don't know how right you are. The surgery cut my weight in half, and i was maintaining the target weight of 220 by just walking 4 miles a day. I stopped doing that and I have been pounding the sweets, and now I am in trouble again.WALKING IS MY BEST FRIEND and i need some help getting in the Groove again. I have 3 trails that I was walking and a lake and now the most i walk is from the kitchen to the couch >

"Made in USA" rods, affect your decision?
It's an International Market Place now. Computers, rapid transportation and modernized shipping as well as a modern communication system have the whole world in the market, Rather than bemoan it , it would do us good as a nation to figure out how to be the major player in it. It is happening whether we like it or not, we all better get used to it and learn how to work it to our advantage.

"Made in USA" rods, affect your decision?
No, my main criteria is buying rods that I like to use and have a history of holding up for me.

TENDONITIS AND OLD SHOULDER INJURY ACTING UP
Thanks All. I had a bariatric bypass ( lost 230lbs!) 5 years ago. I take a 50,000IU dose of Vit D every other week and a mega dose orally 3 times a week , but I will always be Vit D depleted. This is where the cause of some of these issues are with old injuries Hey Paul, I suggested to the DOC about learning how to cast with my other arm, he really strongly was against that . He said there was a high probability i would blow both arms out that way!

Rods, Reels, Line...This Is How I Roll
Thanks, I saw your collection, mine is low rent district compared to yours The thing I have learned is if you hang out on our Flea Market and wait for sales you can fish better equipment and save a lot of money. Cart 7 in particular has been a source of a lot of really fine buys, he always understates the condition of what he sends you!

TENDONITIS AND OLD SHOULDER INJURY ACTING UP
I may do just that! Elaine has had great results with a chiropractor , I may investigate that route. What I have to understand first is my problem skeletal or muscular I believe chiropractors only help skeletal alignment problems.

Who Likes Pink Floyd
ABSOLUTELY 100% FALSE. Acid Rock comes out of the San Francisco/Oakland Area in the mid to late 1960's. Starting with the Jefferson Airplane and Grateful dead, LSD laced free concerts and extended solos, and continuing through the Fill More West and Bill Graham's light show backdrops for such bands as Steppenwolf and It's a Beautiful Day. THE ENGLISH HAVE MADE THEIR MUSICAL LIVING COPYING THINGS STARTED IN AMERICA I love Pink Floyd CD's they make great Frizbees in high wind situations!

NO SWIM BAITS THIS YEAR> TENDONITIS!-
Thanks Micro, I am not a big fan of Japanese Hard Plastic Baits as many are out of my price range. I have no experience or opinion but if I am going to buy any bait over 10 bucks it's got to be wood! Just my prefrerance. PS I own 3 baits over 10 bucks all were presents

NO SWIM BAITS THIS YEAR> TENDONITIS!-

NO SWIM BAITS THIS YEAR> TENDONITIS!-
Thanks Matt, initially I thought this was an elbow or wrist problem. It went to my bicep, which it turns out is where the problem is. There is arthritis in the shoulder joint ( from the separation) and there is some sort of issue along the area where that same collar bone was fractured On top of that tendinitis involving the tendons associated with my bicep! No wrist or elbow brace to help this in any way. No matter what I see some kind of surgical procedure in the future, I am hoping not during this next season but next winter, we shall see
