The Big Fight
I understand "The Sweet Science" of pugalism, I just find boxers/fighters much more entertaining than pugalists. Think of the greats Foreman, Hagler, Ali, Tyson before the disgrace, Linston, Boom Boom Mancini, Frazier et.al. These guys all were fighters not pugalists who stole the rounds by avoiding contact throughout most of the round and in the closing seconds score a few technical points. If that's your thing fine, they have the Olympics for that style. Prize fighting where there is millions on the line, all the hype and trash talk is a spectacle. People are expecting a show, to be entertained, not a demonstration in pugalism; there is a difference IMO.

Modifying A Chatterbait To Keep It From Raising Fast
Yep this, designed not to ride up the water column. In fact it was designed to be crawled on bottom or slow rolled on/near bottom. Chatterbaits in general are designed to be fished s-l-o-w-l-y

What Do You Use For Swimbaits?
Cabella's guide series(? I think) MH 1-3oz baits, Diawa Lexa 300pwrl takes up 23ipt, 20lb Yo-Zuri hybrid line. Most swimbait presentations are on a slow retrieve, that's why I got the low ipt reel. It also doubles as my umbrella rig rod

The Big Fight
I think that most fights that goes to the cards, should be declared a draw. These matches are rarely entertaining, and few are brawls where both men give it their all. I watch fights to see a knock out or a tko. Its why I don't like the UFC, if I wanted to watch wrestling (real wrestling) I would. Just aggrevates me when they go to the mat. Its the same reason I couldn't watch Sugar Ray Leonard, all he did was run around the ring last thirty seconds of each round he would hit his opponent. Always tried to win off of points, drives me nuts.

Help Settle A Debate
Being that close to lake Ontario, it is possible that it could be any of the species suggested. Tiger musky do occur naturally, just go catch another one lol. I know you already stated that its unusual for them to be in the creek, and that is a rarer fish anyways, you probably have a better chance of winning the lottery.

Help Settle A Debate
Tiger musky can be the same color as either parent. I've seen olive green with dark stripes and pike green with yellow stripes and everything in between. Seems that the more stained the water the more green it stays. One clear defining characteristic is the mouth wide like a musky but more duck billed looking, where a pike has a sharper snout.

Sharp truck, please repost after you had it awhile, I'm curious about the eco boost. Would love done real world data on mpg and power.

Help Settle A Debate
Juvenile tiger musky, pickerel have horizontal connecting spots like a chain, hence the name. They also have a distinguishing vertical black stripe under the eye. The vertical stripes on your fish distinguish it as a tiger musky. Tiger musky are rare as a natural specie, it is a hybrid of, typically a male pike and a female musky, they are typically stocked as they're infertile. Do they stock them in the area?

Got My Daiwa Lexa Yesterday
I purchased a Lexa 300pwrl for swimbaits, I've not tried it out yet. I disassembled it upon arrival and I like what I saw, wasn't all fouled up with allot of extra grease, but I cleaned it anyway and lubed the bearings. I like the way it feels, but I haven't used it yet. Maybe I should go today?

Use Line Conditioner?
The line should not be coiling, you've somehow introduced line twist. Dragging your line behind you going 20mph will do nothing at best make it worse more likely. When trolling line to remove twist, you have to go slow. I fished spinning gear exclusively for 20+ years and I don't know how ppl get all the line twist. I can honestly state that I never had twist like ppl describe here, with the exception of when I overfilled the spool. Anyway let out 100 feet of line or so, troll slowly for 5 minutes or so. That will remove the twist. Another way that I prefer is tying a swivel on and then tie that to a post, walk the line off, close the bail load your rod you'll actually see the line rolling removing the twist. I did this everytime I filled my spool, I was awful about introducing twist when spooling my reel. The fastest way to introduce twist is to reel while a fish is taking drag.

Buzzbait Hookset
Buzzbaiting is not a chuck and wind technique, nor is the hook set some magic formula that can be set down as the end all cure all to missed strikes. I was so bad about missing fish that I started looking away or closing my eyes during the retrieve. I learned allot doing this exercise, buzzbaiting is about sound, vibration and finally visual cues. I now can tell if the bait is running the way it should by sound, its about the squeak, the gurgle, the way the water is displaced by the blades, these are all sound cues and vary depending on water temp, wind speed and direction to the bait, chop, vegetation near surface etc. The sound can also clue you in to whether the bass is slapping the bait, nudging it or taking it. Your reaction to each of these scenarios should be different and distinct, most anglers treat all the same, they set the hook. Wrong reaction!, So my advice is fish the buzz and fish it allot and often, that's the only way to learn. The same can be said for every technique, start paying close attention, close your eyes and listen, something. Good luck

What's My Age Craze
Don't worry about it, guy at the VA asked me how many tours I did in Nam, told him "none": I'm 46 not 66! I get that crap all the time. Once in DC, I was leaving a federal building, my wife and daughter stopped to look at a display. Told them I'd meet them outside. The security guard stopped me and told me I could not leave my daughters unattended. I looked at him like he was crazy and said I wasn't that my wife was with her (there were several ppl looking at the display mainly kids) and proceeded to leave. He yells at me to stop, walks over to me and said it again. I then explained to him that the person in question was my wife, and she was more than capable of looking after a 16 year old and I tried to leave again. He stopped me again and said "look you can't leave without your kids", and that I was too old to have a wife that young. At this point my patience are gone, I told him that I was 37 "no way" he says. By this time the wife walks up, he asked for her and my id. He gets this stupid look on his face and said ”I'm sorry for the inconvenience", but I said "oh h*** no, you've gone too far to turn back now. Let's go have a chat with your boss." I had reached the white hot po'd stage, the wife grabs me by the arm and gently walls me outside, all while telling me to calm down. She is a couple years older than me, whether the officer was Capitol police or a rent a cop idk, but I was wanting to find out!

Best Split Ring Pliers
I think mine are Berkley, but if I have to open the ring really wide I'm with Franco. I open the ring with the pliers and use a screwdriver.

Craziest Thing You Ever Done Because Of Fishing
Knocked a spinning combo over the side of my old canoe on the Greenbrier River in April, this is in southeastern WV. I had to get it back, as luck would have it I was in one of the deeper locations, but still only about 8 foot deep. Had to go swimming for it, beached the boat and in I went, air temp mid 50's, water temp high 40's. It was cold worse part is the boat takeout was 2 hours down stream, that was a cold miserable experience, luckily I had enough sense to strip down before I went swimming at least my clothes were dry. I've went swimming many times in nice weather to retrieve a favorite lure.

By convertible do you mean the handle can be either on the left or right?
