  1. They have a new Johnny Morris bait caster its now black and they say improved, also only $159 A new carbon black mag spool bait caster All new Johnny Morris rods, Signature series $139 and Carbon Black series for $119. The signature series looks like and upgraded Carbonlite rod. A new Enigma smart cast reel, hideous looking Carbonlite rods now have micro guides, a couple new rods and they now list a left handed Carbonlite bait caster. Thats all I have really sen so far. Later,
  2. The STX has better quality bearings and also has a better spool as well as the dual breaking system. I have both reels and I feel that both perform equally as well. The only place I really see a difference is when you are throwing lighter weight baits. Later,
  3. I must have been really good this year. I got 2 new Pflueger Patriarch XTs and a Patriarch Spinning reel and a new tackle bag. Later,
  4. Someone forgot to tell the Jets they were playing the Pats last night.lol The way the Pats looked last night I would not be surprised if they take it all. Later,
  5. Falcon Cara T7 weightless worm rod along with a TD Fuego. Later,
  6. I prefer to use a copoly line over fluorocarbon or braid, I like a little stretch to the line. I use a MH/MF rod, I like the slower action. I feel it keeps me from pulling the bait out of the fishes mouth. Also like River Rat said they hook theirselves 98% of the time. Be sure to keep your rod tip down and the line tight. Later,
  7. I picked up a new in box Daiwa SOL for $135 and a new in box Daiwa Fuego for $125 Either one of these reels would handle that easily. Later,
  8. I use 1/4oz swim jigs, KVD Strike King swim jigs in sexy shad and blue shad. I use white Kinami 4inch single tail grubs, 95% of the time. I use a Daiwa Sol bait caster with a Falcon Cara T7 Reaction Swim Jig rod with 12lbs Yo Zuri Hybrid line. Later,
  9. I have heard nothing but positive replys on this line. It is expensive but I am going to put some on my jig rod and try it out. Later,
  10. I voted for the Citica, just because Shimano makes quality products. But I dont think you could go wrong with the Carbonlite or the Pro Qualifier, especially with it on sale. Later,
  11. Well the 200E5 is a right hand retrieve reel, Shimano does not make that reel in a left hand retreive. They do make the 201E7 which is a left hand retrieve, it is a 7.1 retrieve rate. I would look at the 2010 Revo SX or if you can afford the extra $30 the Revo STX. Both of these reels are great reels but the STX is really worth the extra $30. I would really avoid the other 2 you mentioned. Later,
  12. Very nice rod, you will love it. Only problem you know have is that you cant go back only up!lol Believe me I know. Later,
  13. I just use the clear, but the green would work fine also. Later,
  14. Has anyone tried the new Pfleuger Supreme XT? Saw one today at Cabelas and it looked and felt very very nice. Thanks,
  15. Yo Zuri hybrid in 12lbs test, color is up to you. I prefer clear and always treat mine with KVD L&L. Later,
  16. Very nice post, lots of good ideas on there. Later,
  17. Delaware Valley Tackle and they are a site sponsor. Later,
  18. Depending on your price range there is a huge selection. I prefer at least 6' 10" to 7' and MH or H and Fast or Extra Fast. Later,
  19. I switched from Pandora to Slacker. Like it much better. Later,
  20. Yeah, I saw those at Cabelas. They look and feel nice. No info on Falcons web site about them though. Later,
  21. Like they said be sure to leave a little longer tag and definitely wet the line well before cinching down the knot. Later,
  22. Mine is on a Crucial Drop Shot Rod and it is very light and very sensitive. Oh so balanced and did I mention LIGHT! Later,
  23. Hmm, don't laugh. I have everything in a Microsoft spread sheet that lists the manufacture, the lure, the size and the color etc... I then transfer it to my phone and when I goto the store I have the list on my phone so I know what I have and don't have and what I want. Later,
  24. Iv'e used the Hyper Freak, the Hyper Whack'n Worm and the LFT Craw Tube. Not caught anything with them yet, but I have only got to use them once. They appear well made and the action on them is great. Later,
  25. I thought I was the only one that went that crazy. I feel much better know. Later,
