Looking for some feedback on these 2 reels. I am wanting to try out a couple of them. They will be used for swim jigs and finesse jigs. Thanks,

internet testosterone or really the way folks think?
A shotgun loaded with rock salt and glass would sure work very well and not injure the person very badly. A bean bag gun also works really well. ;D And neither involves deadly force. If I feel that my family lives are in jeopardy then that is the only time I would consider using deadly force. Later,

Advice needed on first baitcasting set-up
The Winch is good for your bigger heavier crank baits and does all right with smaller lighter cranks. But it really excels with the heavier crank baits. Later,

braid line question....
I use 20lbs on my spinning reels and 50 to 55lbs on my bait casters. I have tried Fireline and it is ok. I was a huge Power Pro fan till this year. Bought a couple new spools for this year and the line was terrible. Broke extremely easily and was just not up to Power Pro standards. So I tried Suffix this year and have been very impressed so far. So I got some Daiwa Samurai braid for my new Revo SX and holy cow this line is amazing. Expensive but the best braid I have ever tried. Later,

Abu Garcia Revo STX
Hmm, interesting replies so far. I have a couple Curados 200E7s and a 50MG and a new Core 100MG and a 50MG7. I fished these exclusively last year and I did try a 2009 Revo STX and absolutely hated this reel. Found it very hard to get setup correctly and to keep it setup and changing from one bait to another was always a hassle. So this year I saw the new 2010 Revo Premier and absolutely loved the way the reel looked so I got one to try out. Holy cow this reel is AMAZING!! Casts extremely well and is extremely smooth. So I figured I would try a 2010 STX, not as impressed with this reel so I got rid of it. So I got a 2010 Revo Sx this weekend. Holy Cow other then it is little heavier then the Premier is casts like nothing I have ever had. Casts light weight baits, under a 1/4oz cast heavier baits 3/8oz and up very very well. Is extremely smooth and the drag is what you expect from a Revo, top notch. So when I compare these reels to the Curados or my Cores they are right there with them. I feel the SX is better then my Curados but not up to the Cores and the Premier is right there if not ahead of the Cores. So if I was you I would go with the Curado over the STX and would go with an SX over the Curado or the STX. I would avoid all 2009 Revo reels, but that is juts my opinion, cause I know there are guys on here that just absolutely love theirs. I am just not one of them. Later,

Falcon and Plano?
Yeah, PLANO bought Falcon a while back. The new Plano Elite bags are designed for the PLANO style boxes. The Falcon bags work best with the FTO boxes. But the FTO boxes will work with the Elite Bags though, just not as well. Later,

I use Berkley Chigger Craws and Crazy Leg Chigger Craws. The YUM Money craw is also very good. Later,

Jig on straight braid?
I fish my jigs either on braid no leader or on fluorocarbon. I will use which ever one the situation calls for. Later,

the best fluorcarbon fishing line?
I like the BPS XPS and Seaguar InvizX and AbrazX. But it is really hard to beat the XPS price, especially when its on sale. Later,

revo sx or stx
Both reels are pretty much the same. The STX adds a lighter spool and dual braking system and other then that they are the same reels. Either reel should handle the job you plan on using it for. Later,

Line Choice?
I have been using XPS in 17lbs and it is pretty darn good., especially when its on sale. I also like Seaguar InvizX a lot as well. Later,

Daiwa Viento vs Citica, need some help
Stick with the Citica, you will be much happier. The twitchin bar on the Viento is annoying. Later,

The Falcon box does not do a good job either. Very disappointing. Later,

Favorite single curly tail grub
I like the Kalins and Berkely single tail grubs. I also like the Kinami ones really well. They just don't last as long as the other 2 but they definitely produce. Later,

New Rod & Reel
Either a Revo S or a Citica 200E and match it with a Skeet Reese Rod, Abu Garcia Vendetta Rod, Falcon Bucco Rod, St Croix Mojo Bass rod etc... Any of the above combos should be about $200 I would suggest a 7' M/F or 7' MH/F rod, either rod should cover most applications I would also browse the Flea Market, lots of good buys in their. Later,

Ouch, that stinks! He is apparently handling it better then I would have, that is for sure! Later,
