Which do you perfer??????????
Just depends on what I need. For jigs and plastics it is very hard to beat some of the smaller companies out there that have a product just as good if not better then the big companies. Later,

Spinner bait and trailor hook.
The feathered trailer hook is a good idea. I will be trying this tip out. Thanks ***. Later,

Lucky Craft
I also questioned weather LCs were worth the extra money. That question was quickly answered on my first outing. They are worth it. But with that said sometimes the fish will eat them up and sometimes they wont touch them but will eat up the brand X, Y and Z lures. Good idea to have a variety that is for sure. Yeah ebay is a great place to find LC lures cheap. So is Dicks when they have their coupons. Later,

Spinning reel with 7:1 gear ratio?
Yeah my Symetre 2500 spinning reel is a 6.2:1 and takes up 35 inches per crank where my Curado is a 7.0:1 and takes up 30 inches per crank. Later,

STX or Energy PT or Curado
Tough decision, so I bought an STX and a Curado 210E7. BAD BAIT MONKEY!!!! So I spooled them both up yesterday and took them out for some fun. They both were smooth and casted very well. They both had very smooth retrieve. The STX's drag is something else, smooth and powerful. The Curado's drag was very smooth but not near as powerful. As for casting of different weight lures I was very surprised. They both casted the same weight lured extremely well. But the STX required a little more adjusting then the Curado did. Not that big of an issues though. I do like the cast control knob on the Curado better then the click cast control know of the STX. The Curado just seemed easier to dial in. Loved the handle of both reels, both felt very natural. Will be doing some more testing and comparing of these 2 over the next few weeks. Later and thanks for the help,

Something else to consider might be going with a St. Croix Mojo Bass or Premiere rod and then invest in a Shimano 51MG. These reels are awesome and as uicent11 said they are darn near impossible to backlash and so ultra smooth and nice. Just something else to consider. Later,

Floro or Mono for Jerkbaits?
The fluro does sink and tend to pull the nose down where the mono does not sink hence the nose stays up and the bait does seem to have a better profile. With that said I do prefer to use mono for jerk baits but lately I have been trying some Yo-Zuri Hybrid line with good success. Later,

Can i return a Shimano Cumara to BPS for a different action?
BPS here use to be like that. Now they call somebody up from fishing who looks the item over and then decides weather to exchange it or not. But I would say 99% of the time they excahnge without a receipt or refund you money with a receipt. Later,

Where can I move?
Seeings how I hate the cold and the snow and the weather changing every 5 minutes in the mid-west and I have a lot of friends in Texas I would have to choose Texas but with that said I would not rule out Florida. I would also consider North Carolina, absolutely beautiful. Later,

Fishing Software?
Software sounds good, but I just print out all the articles I would like to have, laminate them and stick them in my fishing log book. That way they are there for quick and easy reference and I don't have to worry about them getting ruined. Later,

STX or Energy PT or Curado
Right now I am leaning towards the Revo STX, with the Curado close behind. Thanks,

I am going to be getting a new high speed reel this weekend and am looking for a reel in the price range of the three mentioned. It has to be available in left handed retrieve. So these are the three that I am looking at. 1. Revo STX 2. Energy PT 3. Curado Thanks,

Help picking rod and reel out for bass fishing
Either the Citica E or the Revo S. Both outstanding reels in their price range. As for a rod, St. Croix MoJo Bass or Premiere would be my suggestion. 6'6" or 7' MH/F Later,

Uses of a 7.0 baitcaster
I had been wondering the same thing? I was told of course for Buzz Baits and I was told by a local that anything that requires having slack line pulled in quickly needs to be a 7:0.1 reel. I presume this would be Jerk Baits and Top Water Baits. I am sure there are different suggestions out there, just what I have been told so far. Later,

Are aesthetics important to you?
Yeah, I just can't seem to bring myself to use a ugly colored reel or rod. No matter how good they are suppose to be. Unfortunately I do like things to match as well. Can't help it. Later,

Help with Shimano Citica 200E match?
For line what RW suggested Yo-Zuri Hybrid. As for a rod, what price range are you looking at? The St. Croix Mojo Bass and Premiere are both excellent rods in the $100 range as well as the Shimano Compre. Later,

I would agree on suggesting the Citica E, very fine reel. But what does everyone think of the BPS Pro Qualifier? Later,
