  1. I just use the BPS brand trailer hooks. Come in silver and red and are very reasonably priced. The quality is also very good as well. Later,
  2. No LH models though. Would have loved to try this reel out as well, but no LH models. Later,
  3. X2. This reel is a homerun!!! X3 Later,
  4. The B series are very and I mean very good reels. If the size of the Es are too small for you then the B series would be a great fit for you. Later,
  5. I got the 201E7 and before I even used it they put the 51MGs on closeout and then they were made even cheaper on a web site for a week and I couldn't help myself and bought 2 of them. Needless to say I sold the Curado. Now though it has left me needing a high speed reel, what to try?? Later,
  6. X2, they work perfectly for treble style hooks. No more tangles or frustration of trying to get them in and out of the box. Later,
  7. Very manageable line, very little if any memory. Later,
  8. It is a really good line, but with that said the Yo-Zuri Ultra Soft is better for spinning reels. The line you got will work just fine, just be sure to treat it really well with KVD L&L. Later,
  9. Megastrike Later,
  10. WOW, they decided to make it in left hand retrieve. I was told it was only going to be a right hand retrieve model. Sorry for the wrong info. and in that case the Pro Qualifier combo would be the way to go. Later,
  11. The Pro Qualifier does not come in a left hand retrieve. Right hand only. Later,
  12. The Mojos look nice, but I do not like the split grip or the lack of the front grip. But I am not fond of the Power Hump style grip handle of the Avid either. So at this point I have just been using the Premieres and am quite happy. Later,
  13. Cavitron Buzz Bait or a Lucky Craft Sammy. Later,
  14. Our Dicks did not have Power Pro on sale, but they had a lot of other line on sale, as well as all Rapala lures 20% off and some select Lucky Crafts for $12.00 Also had quite a few plastics, spinners and jigs on sale. Even had some Cavitron Buzz Baits for $3.99! Later,
  15. Good luck finding them at a discount anywhere, unless they are on close out do to a new model coming out. Your best bet is the forum flea market or ebay. Later,
  16. Went with the Fire Line Braid. BPS doesn't carry the Daiwa Samurai and plus I had some BPS bucks to use. Spooled it up and took it out to practice a few casts. Did notice it was quite a bit quieter then Power Pro and felt a little bit better then Power Pro. Will find out this weekend if I can get to the pond. Later,
  17. I keep hearing great things about the new Daiwa Samurai Braid as well. I hear it is quite a bit better then the new Fire Line Braid. I am going to try out one of these 2 that is for sure. Been using Power Pro exclusively for the past couple years. Later,
  18. I decided to try some out. I figured for $12 it couldn't hurt. So I got some 8lbs line and spooled up my new spinning reel and headed out. It casts like a dream very sensitive and had no problems with line twists or any knot issues. Will try it out some more this week and see how it holds up over time. I also treated it with KVD L&L of course. Later,
  19. SPRO Bronzeye or Bronzeye Jr. I did pick up some plastic frogs to try this year as well. YUM, Stanley and Rage Tails. Later,
  20. Yes this is a very nice bag. I did add the 10 extra pages and it made a big difference. I have not had any problems storing larger plastics in the sleeves either. Later,
  21. Same here, right handed but use a left handed retrieve. Right handed retrieves just feel completely awkward to me. Later,
  22. Pretty interesting subject here. Looks like I might have to give one of these a try. Anxious to hear some more results. Later,
  23. Expensive Casting: St. Croix and G-Loomis Expensive Spinning: St. Croix and G-Loomis Cheap Casting: Ugly Sticks and Berkley Cheap Spinning: Ugly Sticks and Berkely Later,
  24. Who can give a review of Power Pro vs Suffix vs the New Fireline Braid. Would like to hear from people that have used all 3, pros and cons of each. Getting ready to restring my reels for the year. I currently have only used Power Pro. Thanks,
