Lucky Craft customer service?
This isn't the first time I've heard about this happening to premium baits. It's generally heat related and most of the time the bait company has ponied up and replaced the baits.

spike-it scent and color markers.

Suggestion for a high end batcaster
Never magnesium in brackish or sale water. Go with a Zillion if you want low profile. Shimano Conquest, Japanese model or Daiwa Bay Casting Special, another JDM round reel.

Sensitivity????
Sensitivity has multiple parts, the line, the rod and components and the angler's own sense of touch. Line is an obvious part of the equation, as you have noticed. The rod and components? Definitely. Finally, just like some guys will never throw a 100 mph fast ball, some guys will never feel a bass pick up a bait and some guys will be able to feel a bass glance at it. It is, what it is.

Daiwa D-Turbo Rod

Turmoil at GAMMA?
Why does the term "sour grapes" come to mind? You make your choices and take the consequences.

Pond Pros
1. Jackall Yammy 500 or Flick Shake rigged wacky +, water clarity determines. 2. Megabass Pop-X, OSP Blitz Max or OSP HPF Crank, water clarity or structure depending. 3. OSP Zero 1 jig w/trailer or Yamamoto 6" Grub, structure depending. Apologies for the multiple suggestions. There are quite a few small ponds in my area, each with quite different conditions

Luck "E" Strike Guido Bug Heads
Anybody remember these jig heads? I know it's been a while since Guido has been with Luck "E" Strike but do they still make this jig head? It was great for craws, creatures and spider jigs.

Megabass Pop Max?
The Pop-Max is good, the Pop-X (smaller size) has been more productive FOR ME.

High End Rods and Reels
The high-dollar argument should be broken into two separate parts; quality and how it affects the angler. Tighter tolerances, better components, all that should equate with better equipment the higher you climb on the dollar/yen/euro tree you go. That can be quantified. The human aspect is where it gets to be preference and opinion and from one person to the next, totally worthless. As mentioned previously, people detect things differently, but there is also the element of experience. Would a person who has never fished before know what it feels like when a fish is hitting bait? They may detect something different but may not recognize it until explained. As the angler builds experience, he or she can decide if the investment in higher quality equipment is justified. The final aspect is angler-equipment interaction. How does the tackle handle under stress? Can you honestly say the quality of hook or line has an influence in getting a fish to the boat but the rod or reel doesn't? There's many a slip from the cup to the lip, got to be twice as many from hook to the net. Dry fly fishing

Kim Bains = Another Continent Heard From
North America, of course. A few guys from Africa. Asia has been represented. Now Kim Bains racks up a new continent for the B.A.S.S. Masters Classic as an Australian. Truly a world class titiel South America and Europe, are they far behind?

What colors of jigs should I be buying??
quick note regarding a moving line bite, it often indicates the presence of more than one fish in the spot.

F or XF for jig/worm rod?
learn from me ... go with F not XF

What colors of jigs should I be buying??
Along with black and craw colors, I have found bluegill patterns to be excellent in clear to lightly stained water, especially around the spawn and just after. Use a smallie beaver in sprayed grass or big texan(?) and you're golden!

wacky rig help
That is almost exactly how I wacky rig, except if don't cover the hook eye. I keep it so the worm lays horizontal, hook point and shank.
