Jdm Baits
I refuse to buy anymore Megabass/JDM baits until I throw the ones I have now. Couple hundred bucks worth still in package because they are too pretty to use. And I'm scared to lose them to pike.

Lunkerville Tv Show
I love Lunkerville. Aside from this show, the only other show I watch is MLF. I saw a fishing show this weekend on TV and all it was is 2 guys catching bass plugging their sponsors and the gear they were using then back to catching fish. Literally watched them catch fish for the entire show. They would edit to the hooks sets and it got old quick.

St Croix Tip Heavy?
I had both 7' Avid MH/F and M/F. The MH was a little tip heavy. The M/F is fine. The LTBs are a little more tip heavy and a tad nicer rod than the Avids. Both series are about the same in sensitivity. I would based my choice on whether I wanted full cork grip or split grip.

Sell Me A New Rod?
There are many 100 dollar range rods that are plenty sensitive and if you buy them used, you can get them for even cheaper.

Just Lost A Fishing Pole
Same thing happen to my buddy except the boat wasn't moving, we heard a splash and was like what was that? The bass almost took his rod off the deck, he managed to grab his rod in time and the fish came unbuttoned. I has a similar experience when we were in a row boat moving to another location, I was probably 10 years old at the time. I tossed my 4" grub on a ball jig head only to see its action on how it swims. I had no idea how to fish plastics and only used live bait. A giant pike took it, stripped almost all my line, so I locked the drag and it broke the line. When I came back to fishing in 2007, I was still in the learning phase. I went to a local pond that was very weedy. I couldn't get a bite all day and I see my gf toying around with frogs by dangling over them, they would jump up and grab the tail. I told her to stop in case one swallows the hook. We move to another end of the pond and she starts dangling her bait in the water and bam, she catches the first fish. I learned something new, I guess you can call it weightless punching and I still do this and catch fish all the time.

Mono Lines Without Bad Memory Problems
McCoy Mean Green, give it a try and you won't be disappointed. It's strong and has literally no memory at all. Even after leaving my line on spools for over 8 months (Canada's winter), a few casts and it's limp again. No need for line conditioner.

Kopper Live Target?
I use their live target frog because they look great and is still around the same price range as other frogs I fish.

Just Bought An Avid. Any Feedback?
I feel the same way. The MHF was a little tip heavy to me. The MF is my favourite rod though.

Feeling The Line?
I only do this if I cannot watch my line, either when it's too windy or at night.

Getting Rid Of New Car Smell
LOL, I want to get rid of the smell, not exchange it for another.

Getting Rid Of New Car Smell
My mom bought a new 2012 Honda CRV a year ago and it still has that new car smell. It makes me sick to my stomach and I want to get rid of it. It's been a year and I can't believe it's still there. I'm not 100% sure if it's the new car smell or from the fabric protection spray they put on because that was included in her package. Regardless, it's terrible and it smells like a strong chemical. I've been in probably 8 new cars recently bought by family and friends and they all don't have any odor. With my moms car, once I open the door, I get a big whiff of it in my face. How do I get rid of this smell? I've tried to air it out, but you would think after a year of use, the smell would be gone by now. I'm thinking about buying 5 packs of baking soda, the ones you use for the fridge and putting one under every seat and in the trunk area. I thought about Febreze, except I'm sensitive to these types of products. Any other more natural suggestions?

Round Bend Or O'shaunessy
The round bends have a slightly wider gap for bigger plastics. Pretty much it.

Spool Tension Knob
I don't like a clicking cast control because the range is too wide between each clicks. Adjusting is usally very minor that it won't make it to the next click. If what I said even make sense lol.

Worm And Jig Rod Sensitivity
For me, they all require the most sensitivity if you want to feel the bottom not because of how long the bass will hold onto the bait, but feeling the change in bottom composition. I'm not a big fan of braid and will use it because it turns a $100 rod into a $300 rod.

Crank Rod Necessary?
The St Croix 7' Avid M/F is rated a fast action rod. It has a soft tip though making it hard to get a good hook set when T-rigging so it's become my treble hook rod.

Crank Rod Necessary?
Being mostly a bank fisherman and limiting my rods to 3, I sold my Fenwick Elite Tech Crankshaft. I'm now using a 7' M/F Avid to do all my cranking and I like using it more than the cranking rod. It works great for mostly shallow to mid depth, nothing deeper than 10 feet. It's also a great rod for traps, topwater and jerkbaits. The rod is too soft for Texas rigs I find. What's most important for me is to keep the fish down and loosen the drag a little more. The only time I lose a fish is when it jumps. Upgrading my crankbait hooks have improve on this though.

What Type Of Hook Is Reccomended?
I've used the Gammy EWGs from weightless to punching and never felt like I needed to use a different hook. I have a variety of hooks and haven't noticed much of a difference from one to another.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is the cheapest and most effective way to clean. A 2 pack cost no more than $3. Soak in water, squeeze then start cleaning.

Hit By Lightening, Survived
Rain is okay. Get off the water if the clouds are dark, better to be safe than sorry. I had a few close calls in a row boat and couldn't make it to shore fast enough.

Core 51 Drag Star
Yeah, they were made of an graphite material, but I say plastic anyways. Interesting you say the Chronarch has a rock solid drag star, I'll be okay with that along as the annoying flexing isn't there. I only have Curados because I love the colour and comes with already aluminum star on the 200s. Shimano changes stuff up all the time so there is no surprise if they improved on this to make it stronger, I'm not the only person who has broken off an arm. The new black septon knobs are a big improvement over the grey ones. The grey ones would get sticky and weren't made very well, some would have a bubble in the knob. The first thing I noticed about the new black septon knobs are they are much harder and durable. No issues at all after swapping all my old ones.

Core 51 Drag Star
I broke one on my Citica, it's the same material they use on the new Chronarch Es and Curado 50E. Maybe I dropped the reel on one of the arms and that's why it broke off pretty easily when I was tighten the drag. I doubt it'll break with normal use, I personally don't like it because it flexes when adjusting.
