Yeah but for some reason i have a skitter pop and strike king spit-n-king and neither one of them catch as many fish as my rebel pop-r

I went out tonight and was using a lot of different stuff at first. Then i switch to a pop-r and got nothing. I had a skitter prop that i ordered a while back and never really had any luck with it. So i use that and first cast i got one. Couple more casts i got another one. Then after a couple more casts i got it stuck on the drain and now its sitting on the edge of the drain.

Yeah thats what i was gonna say with flukes put one of the regular flukes on it not the super flukes. I did that with one of my spinner baits the other day adn caught my first bass on a spinner bait.

Well what about the daiwa exceler? or the abu garcia black maxx or silver max?

I'm looking into getting a new bait casting rod and reel and it will be my first i usually use spinning reels. I would throw on a cavitron buzzbait right around dark is when i start getting bites on it and it works really well right when it gets dark.

What kind of baits are best to use while fishing in the rain? or should i not fish in the rain at all? Are they still biting like normal or what?

How do you fish these jerk baits? and should it be weightless?

Hahahah actually, it seems this has happened! lol Everything i throw out there i never get anything which has happened the last 2 times i went fishing, which means to me i get to buy new lures! haha Honestly it's probably the rod & reel. Or if you are shore fishing it is definitely that you need to get a boat. ;D Really it could be the rod and reel? I mean i only have one rod i use but i was looking into getting a couple more like one for my spinnerbaits one for buzzbaits then one to put a snap swivel on to use all my crankbaits. Me and my friend are just assuming its the location haha

What are 10 lures that you would suggest and are also baits that are good for fall fishing? I wouldn't like to spend more than 10 dollars on one lure maybe one is ok but not all over them be lucky craft or something like that. Thanks!

One Lucky Craft lure which would you pick? I want to try one of these out but don't want to find out on my own buying each one until i find which one works best.

I just recently got one and love it but when i went out to use it the water was pretty choppy so i switched so i only had a few minutes with it. I've heard your supposed to act like its a popper, with a jerk pause motion.

Is there some sort of secret trick to using spinner baits i just havn't heard yet? Because no matter what i can not catch ANYTHING on them. I went out and bought a Boo Yah HD spinner bait used it for a good 45 mins without a single bite. Now i fish from a shore and from what I've caught before the bigger bass are a little ways out from teh shore so should i cast out towards the middle? Or closer to the bank? And should i let it sink any or what? Any tips or tricks with spinner baits would be great! thankss.

They make trailor hooks that have the eye a larger size to go around the hook. Usually trailor hooks come with this tubing that u cut and put over the eye then put on the hook make sure you get the ones with tubing or with something over the eye over the trailor hook I'm not sure how but somehow i managed to buy some cheap ones that didn't come with tubing just some cheap plastic thigns to hold it in place that didn't even work.

YEAH! See this is how it happened...It struck hard and took it under...I jerked hard and it stayed under...I start reeling...and its gone. Almost same thing with the second, I really have a good feeling about trailor hooks for next time though.

Actually to be quite frank, I pro set that bad boy so hard my rod tip smack a bluegill in the mouth! hahaha

Haha I know what your talking about because I used to do this EVERYTIME with the popper the thing is it took the bait and was pulling my rod so i jerked it up started reeling and it was still on there and while i was reeling somehow it got off so I'm not really sure if it was me jerking it too soon. But I guess its possible and wow i wish I would've thought to add a trailor i bet that would've helped. The second strike he took it under before i set it so next time I guess I'll get some trailors and I'll give it a second before i set it.

The rapala shallow runner in shad color has probably been the most productive cb I have ever used. It's amazing how many fish I've caught with it.

After reading every talking about how good this buzzbait was I had to get one even though I've NEVER had any luck with a buzzbait. So I buy the ghost minnow color with a gold spinner and the 1/8 size. Well I get out to the lake thing about 620 and start using it just because it was new and i want to use it. I used it for about 15 mins and had nothing so I moved on to a popped then husky jerk then senko...still nothing. Now when i fish in the morning me and my friend can catch em left and right. On the afternoon however we catch nothing. So around 720 i put my cavitron back on since it was gettin a little dark and wasn't catching anything until about 8 i cast it near a dock and had a HUGE hit so i set it start reeling it in and next thing I know it got loose. So about 4-5 cast later a little bit farther out from the dock, I got another huge hit and it felt like a pretty big bass. After i set it i started reeling it in and then while I was reeling it in it got loose...AGAIN! :'( So the whole afternoon i had 2 strikes and I was mainly using my new cavitron. Is there some way to using a buzz bait I don't know about? Or a different way to set it?

hahahahhahaaha i knew someone would notice that. I can handle them usually and my friend caught one that size b4 me and i could handle it but for some reason something about that bass's sandpaper was like digging into me. hahah So you can throw them into a lot of weed like that? Because I'm pretty sure majority of the lake is like that, especially on the bank i fish on.

I've heard a lot about this does it really work that well? Is it worth the ten dollars?

I went out to the lake with my friend with some senkos and jigs w/rage tail chunks as trailors. The senkos were great but the jigs seemed too heavy or somehting and kept getting caught in weeds and stuff. I'm not sure if I'm fishing htem wrong or what. Any tips on jigs like what kind are best and trailors to use and how to use them would be great. Thanks
