  1. I'm looking at buying a swimbait rod and basically to throw basically just the slammer, matts hard bluegill, TT 7inch swimbait, and others around that size. Would the 7'6" Heavy version be good enough for what i want to throw? http://www.***.com/descpageRDCDAIWA-DAHSCR.html# And what kind of reel should i pair this with?
  2. If I had to choose one it'd be the paca chunks they have a great action to them.

  4. Haha good memory but yeah. ;D I'm just planning in the future it'll take me a bit before i can get it unless I sell my 360 soon.

10.50?! Holy crap its only about 6.50 at the theatres around me. But yeah i have to agree Eastwood was amazing but the other actors brought the movie down a lot but it was still great definately a movie to buy when it comes out.

Haven't seen many movies, eh? I've seen more than enough movies and can't think of one better than this off the top of my head
  7. I want to spend between 100-200 dollars on a reel and 100-200 dollars on a rod. I've been looking at the carrot stix or kistler magnesium rods. I also came across this one that I absolutely fell in love with. http://www.tackledirect.com/daiwa-mi781mrb-mike-iaconelli-signature-long-cast-crankbait-trigger-rod.html Any suggestion for what kind of rod and reel i should get? Should this rod I found be good for the money or look for something different?
  8. Whats the difference between the 100s,200s, or 300s? And the Ds and Es between the curados and citicias?
  9. The other day I was using braid for the first time, Power Pro 30lb. And I love how it casts and everything but after about 10 casts I threw my lure off my line. I was using the knot that you like twist over 7-8 times (sorry I don't know names of knots yet) and was wondering if I should use a different knot.

Has to be the greatest movie I've ever seen in my life! Has anyone else seen it yet?
  11. Sounds fun I'm in!

Hahaha i saw this on *** hte other day as well i thought it must have been some sort of typo or something.
  13. They probably have them they might just not have the one you want. At the store in Charlotte they had a place for them but all were gone except for the craw color and bass color in the floating/slow sink version. Best thing to do is give them a call and find out.
  14. Yeah thats a really good idea. I just thought those others were both questions i would like to test anyways but line strength would be good too with a lot less variables to consider. I wonder what kind of materials i would need.
  15. That is what i was thinking it would have a lot of different variables such as time of day/weather/etc. etc. I think I'm just going to hope the judges aren't bass fishermen. ;D Other than that i think if i do like 10 colors of a 7" power worm it would work. Or get like 5 different attractants use it on a plain worm such as a trick worm and do something there? I'm not sure thank you for your input though!
  16. This year I'm at senior in high school and in order to graduate we have to do this huge project and this year they're letting us choose the topic as long as it "challenges" us. So I was thinking about doing it on if color really matters when it comes to catching largemouth bass. I would buy one particular worm and like ten different colors of the same worm and use each for a certain amount of time each day or something. But I also started thinking I could do one on different fish attractants. Like get 5 different fish attractants and use each for periods of time. Which one should I choose? Or is there something else better that I could do?
  17. I use 20lb test. But don't worry mine came perfect i love it. I also have a bbz-1 shad and they both swim very similar the only real difference i can tell is the size.
  18. I found a good place to catfish and I think I'm going to do that until it gets a little warmer so what is every ones favorite lures/gear to use to catch catfish?
  19. I fish from shore and the temperatures are getting a little warmer here, high 40s low 50s. Now I know if i wanted a chance of catching any fish i need to be able to fish deep is that possible from fishing from shore? If so how should i go about catching fish in this kind of weather? This guy lets us use his dock and we can get our lures out a little deeper but I'm still not sure if it gives us a chance at catching any bass. So is there anything i can do to be able to catch some?
  20. Now is this the floater/slow sink or the slow sink/fast sink?
  21. Do they hang up on every piece of wood on you too? Wood, grass, rock, stray molecules of hydrogen and oxygen.... :-X Same here, one was enough for me. Comes with half a skirt and a wimpy weedguard. All in all I think the jig could be alot better for the price.. Exactly, i was very disapointed to see my 8 dollar jigs skirt all messed up and not work as well as some of the cheaper ones i own.
  22. Do they hang up on every piece of wood on you too? Wood, grass, rock, stray molecules of hydrogen and oxygen.... :-X Haha glad mine aren't the only ones not looking like they do in pictures. On top of the above mentioned my paca chunk seems to bring it down so it doesn't sit upright like it should i think i needed a bigger sized jig?
  23. I'm not sure either I've looked around for it with no success but I have a spro bbz-1 fast sink which weighs an ounce and it feels heavier than my TT 4" swimbait that i have both balls in for fast sink. I use a 1/4-1 1/4 rod and it casts it easily I'm sure you'd be fine with your set up.
  24. They had it right before the end of the jig head and weights isle at the dicks near me. But if they carry cavitrons and the attractant why don't they carry any of the new stuff such as the evo2 jigs and shakey heads?
  25. Kinda blury so I'll name them. -Spro bbz-1 shad -Tru-Tungsten 4inch swimbait -Jackall Giron -Jackall Aragon SR -Jackall TN/70 -Lucky Craft mini dr -Strike King ochos -Anacondas -Strike King Fat 7inch Sinkworm -Evolution jigs -paca chunks -Damiki Gladiator Spinner bait -Strike King premier plus spinner bait -xps stalker tackle bag -Daiwa megaforce reel -Daiwa Tierra rod 8-)
