My St. Croix 7'MF Mojo casting rod just got here and its one nice rod. Paired it with my new Citica 200E and I couldn't be happier with this combo! ;D Went out and tested it and my new St. Croix premier crankbait series rod and I think I'm now in love with St. Croix.

For you it would definitely be worth it at least to see all the types of lures/sizes and such like that that you can't see online since your new to fishing. That way after that trip you will know what the lure looks like in person before you buy it.

If you're just getting into fishing it's good because you can see all types of lures and stuff you don't have at dick's or walmart that you can order online after you see what they look like and stuff. I have one about an hour away and i love going there just looking around but to me it's not worth it anymore. Everything I need to buy is either at dicks, walmart, or I can get it online. Whenever I take trips down to charleston i always make a stop by since its not far out of the way.

Sorry to hear that I'm sure your pretty upset after that. Just goes to show if somethins too good to be true, it probably isn't true.

If your going to get one it should be the silver max I bought a black max for my first bc and my friend got the silver and it's a lot better. Casts better and is smoother than the black max.

Yeah the bigger size flipsider probably does hold spinners but even so look at how they are in that thing. Much better options out there instead of cramming them into one like that. Burley is that not bending the wire? And how can you stand for the skirt to go in like that first it gets all mangled and stuff. I don't know maybe it's a preference thing but I hate how spinners fit into that thing.

Dang it now thats something else I'm going to have to try out. There goes another 40 dollars!

About how long does it take to go out you think? You'd think for 20 dollars you'd be able to at least have a way to keep the flash since thats the main selling point on the lure.

I was in the market for one just this week and ended up going with the citica and love it! I'm glad I didn't make the mistake of buying something else.

At my local dicks they have like 2 or 3 Lucky Craft lures for only 10 dollars and in one color. The pointer 100SP in aurora black was only 10 but it was the only color for that cheap.

I have one and love it! It casts very well and is really smooth. For 30 dollars you should definitely get one!

I would go with the citica! I was just in the market for one in the same price range and found the citica is the best for the money. I can't wait for mine to get here! ;D

Sweet Beaver in any black/blue pattern. Or the baby brush hogs are good too.

I'm not gonna lie that looked like a bad idea. One time I had reeled in my rapala husky jerk and was in this little jon boat and had my rod tip up high but my lure was near my friends head and he didnt realize it and he heard the rattles and he thought it was a bee. So he went to smack it against his head and thought it was stinging him so kept smacking it over and over and I had to yell at him to stop. Eventually he dug 2 of the hooks past the barb in his head. It was probably the funniest thing in the world but I know it had to hurt. ;D But he said his dad like cut a little bit of skin in his head to get it out. Sounded painful. Anyways heres a pic the long blue string was from his sun glasses that the lure caught and was hanging off of him and the little blue thing beside it is the lure. hahaha

All I know is *** claimed the flip sider 3614 could hold spinnerbaits so I bought it and it can't even fit my 1/4oz spinnerbait i have in it. Yeah if i could have any reel no matter the cost it'd probably be a steez.

I love bandits and they often help me outfish my friend who is fishing with rapala DTs. But all the colors you mention are great the only color I have right now is bluegill in footloose, 100S, 200S, and 300S.

Topwater=Rebel Pop-r Shallow=Bandit 100 series Mid depth=Jackall Aragon SR Deep=Don't fish deep cranks yet Only reason I love these is because I know they catch fish and have a lot of confidence in them!

I'm probably going to order the new St. Croix mojo 7' Medium action for t-rigs. I can't decide what reel to put on it between these 2. Which would be better for what I'm going to use it for or is there a different reel I should be looking at in this price range (100$)?

Yeah I thought about that too the only thing I could think of to why he said that is if maybe he saw matts hard bluegill the wake version with the bill and once saw the bill just immediately thought crank. Even though its a swimbait and just got confused? Haha thats the only reason i could think of.
