Line for jigs/t-rigs

Recommended Posts

What line does everyone use for jigs and texas rigs? Right now I'm using 10lb mono but want something different. Any suggestions?

15# P-line CXX for my jigging and heavy t-rigged baits, 12# P-line CXX for my baitcast worming combo, and 8# Seaguar Invisix fluoro for my spinning combos for small light jigs and light t-rigged baits like finesse worms, grubs, and tubes.

I also have some Yo-zuri hybrid I'm gonna try out too

"wouldnt braided line be to visible and float to much for a t-rig... i agree to use braid for jigs but not sure bout t-rig"

Well, lets see: a jig has a hook and a weight made on to it. A Tx rig has a hook and weight that are separate-some peg the weight making it a jig. Both can be rigged with a worm, crawfish, etc. There are light weight and heavy jigs. There are light weight and heavy slip sinkers. In functionality they are the same. Why wouldn't the same line work with both?
