what is your favorite lure?!
Is that the shad rap shallow runner? Yes it is and it catches fish like you wouldnt believe. Like if i could only have one crankbait to fish with, i'd chose that evertime.

When you say flipping/pitching what are you talking about?

Jigs and Soft Plastics
Alright thanks! But i just got back from Dicks and came back with some senkos, 2 booyah jigs that had rattles (wasnt sure what kind are best to get), and some rage tail chunks. Is there anything else that is something i should have that helps? Like a particular jig brand thats good or anything else?

Jigs and Soft Plastics
I seem to everytime i go fishing be using crankbaits or poppers. They are usually the only thing i can catch anything on, probably because i dont know how to work jigs or anything like that. I have a couple jigs but never get a bite on them...or spinners or buzzbaits for that matter. I have been using cheap spinners and buzzbaits though. I'm not sure but is there anyone that could link some sites on tips on how to work jigs and things like that? Or just any tips in general you could throw out there and what kind of jigs and trailors work best. I only started bass fishing at the beginning of summer and have a good amount of experience for topwaters and cranks. Any help with others would be great, thanks.

pet bass
Alright to start things off Simon, thanks a lot that is exactly the kind of information i was looking for. Tony thanks for helping me out against everyone who is against me in doing this. Hah even though there are plenty of people that do it. I know I'm a newb at having a fish tank but so far i have learned a lot, and I'm pretty certain i can keep a fish without it dying. Suskydude lighten up a little bit and go check out some of the videos on youtube and look how amazing a little bass is and how awesome it is to watch it eat. I won't start out with a bass more than likely I'll start out with a bream. And if it dies I'll buy a fish from the store until I've perfected keeping a fish THEN I will go catch my little bass:) I believe you saying it'll be torture to the fish was a little dramatic. And i think the only kind of human that could torture a fish by not knowing enough would be a little 5 year old. I'm sorry but i do have enough common sense to look into things before i go try them, at least give me that. Its not like this is my 5th attempt in keeping a bass. Loosen up a little susky. btw tony...ily, that was pretty much exactly what should've been said.

pet bass
Haha well your right I'm probably not ready, but I have been looking into it for about a week now b/c the tank was offered to me for free so i mean it got me interested then i noticed people keeping lmb and watching them eat was pretty amazing and i think I'd do/pay a lot to be able to have that in my room. It is legal where i live I've already checked into that. I'll probably start out with a bream in about 2 weeks and see how that goes and if it goes well i will end up putting a largemouth in there. Thanks for the advice i really appreciate it and when it all happens and goes well I'll be sure to post pictures for you ;D

pet bass
Thanks for that, but I'm really science illiterate so all i got from that was that the waste from fish is bad, therefor i need something to pretty much destroy that? or break it down? what do i need to get to keep the fish alive and healthy? I understand I need to let the tank sit with water for about a week before adding fish but not sure what else I'd need to be in the tank while its doing this.

yeah what i've have been hearing is all over the place...ive read this one guy had one in a 75 for over a lil over a year the only thing is with the tank is it wont get too big if you keep it in a smaller tank...from the videos i've seen the 125 gal im gettin is a lot bigger than other ppls ive seen with a lm in their tanks...but ive also heard what ur saying and that it shouldnt be smaller than 180...yet again i wasnt thinking id be keeping it until it turned into a monster bass...but that was the first time ive heard u cant rerelease it...every site ive seen ppl are saying thats what htey do is rerelease htem when they outgrow the tank...thanks for the help though
