It's worth a look, especially in the spring. Pay close attention to areas where it jumps up to the flat. Just above the cut, all of the lay down trees will collect fish in the spring as well. Summer time, a direct 180 towards the point is hard to beat. May a check has been won over that way. Unfortunately it's all too true! I don't do much anymore in terms of residential work but am more than happy to give advice when asked. It's also very important to be aware of individuals that look out of place in your neighborhood. I have no problem asking strangers in my neighborhood if I can help them find someone or call the police to let them know someone suspicious is walking around. It doesn't help just myself and my home but the folks around me as well. Just puts a little seed in their head that "this place might not be where I want to break in, people are watching!"

I've never had a locking knob/lever on any residence I've lived in because they offer very little in terms of security and it's all to easy to walk out without keys and pull the door shut, locked. A good quality passage knob/lever with a grade 1 deadbolt lock with a reinforced strike is all you can do. By doing this, it forces you to A) use the deadbolt and B)you will always have the keys in your hand and not lock them inside!! Don't think that more locks means more security. The more holes and locks on the door inherently weakens the door and frame!

I alway tell people "if someone wants to get in your house, they will!" What you as a homeowner want to do is make your home "look" more secure than your neighbor!! deadbolt locks are as much a physical deterrent as a visual deterrent! Most break-ins are of the smash and grab variety. A burgler is going to search out a door without a secondary lock or find a first story window that has easy access! Reinforced strikes that have screws that engage the frame of a door as well as bolts that extend a full 1" are about all that you can do. Exterior lighting and low shrubbery around doors are a plus. People that attempt break-ins know that quick entry is the key to success. If it takes more than a few second to gain entry, bigger opportunity to get caught!

Too many things to do to get out in a hurry. Think for a moment if that is the only means of egress from the house in an emergency, seconds count. Then think if you are a guest in the home and the lights are out. My job is to look at worst case scenario.

You are absolutely correct, but if you look close enough, you will see there are only 3or 4 ingredients in eliquid, all of them are GRAS or generally regarded as safe by the FDA. it amazes me that some of you will throw out info that deamonizes this industry with very little background other than what you hear on the news. Fearmongering at its finest. Do a little bit of reading and research before you just chuck out statements of insecurity. Again, I've said this before, it's harm reduction. I wouldn't advise anyone to "start" vaping to just vape, there should be age restrictions, there should be some oversight as to the manufacture of eliquids. You also have to understand big tobacco and big pharmaceutical are big players here, they want total control. Money talks. The industry is doing a great job of self regulation. Many larger manufacturers have very high tech processes that include clean rooms when making their liquids. I did a lot of research on ecigs and vaping in general before I made my choice. Just remember, it's a choice, you don't have to agree with it, but you should respect it and the how's and whys associated with it!

If there is no smoking posted, I don't vape, that's how I approach it. I totally understand that, if folks are abusing the situation, it would be a problem. I, when I vape, do so in such a manor that doesn't bother anyone. I do it away from others and don't blow my vape at anyone, that's just rude. Mid there is ever a question if I should or shouldn't, I don't. If someone doesn't have a problem with it and they say something to me, I stop. Like I've said before, I'm not a "clouds bro" vapor person but know they are usually the ones that bring negative attention. Respect for others is not very common but I do my best to be very respectful in everything I do!!

It's referred to as harm reduction. Nicotine is no more addictive than caffeine when used in vaping. It's when you add all the other ingredients in cumbustable tobacco that you have the as you call it "addiction." Some people need the ability to ween themselves from the harmful to get to the point where they can quit.
