senkos work great here in maine , I just do not enjoy fishing them , I just find it boring. Now my fishing partner on the other hand will make 1 cast with a crankbait or a soft plastic and if he doesn't get something on that cast , out come the senkos and he is reelin in the bass to beat the band. I am always saying to him , friggin senkos !

I have some old lures I would like to sell. can someone tell me a good place to sell them ? bought a book and checked them out , thought I might start collecting but already have enough to do.

way2slow is correct. although a compression test is good, a leakdown test tells all. you should be able to check with your mech. and ask him if pistons are std. size or oversized. it is highly unlikely that it was resleeved more like bored if anything. the only reason for a new sleeve would be a really bad score that could not be bored out. if it was bored I would also ask if it was done with a torque plate. when buying a remaned power head or having any machine work done it is in your best interest to ask alot of questions. I am the mech. supervisor for a large marina and boatyard , we see some really scary work done by people that should never touch an engine.

I have always been fishing jigs and soft plastics , literally sun up to sun down. Played around with spinnerbaits and cranks last fall and really did well and learned alot. Just bought 2 new rods and reels that will be just for these two lures. I showed my buddy how to fish senkos last year and I have created a monster. I just do not enjoy fishing them even though they are amazing. He finally started catching more fish than me he was quite proud of himself and fun to see him do so well. Also this long cold winter I am going to practice pitchin and flippin in one of our heated boat storage buildings. I am building a platform the same height of my boat deck.

I did as much research as I could absorb. They seem like a very nice rod. If it is half as good as there customer service was , I am sure I will love it.

okay , thats what I figured. I am looking into whether or not it is possible to install a 55lb. motor assembly on my 40 unit. I don't see why it isn't possible , would be alot cheaper than buying a complete new unit.

I have a 40 lb. MK foot controlled tm on the bow of my tracker pro 17. I would like to go up to a 55lb. thrust model. It is alot cheaper to go with a hand control model but don't know if its a pain to fish in the wind with. My aluminum boat is a full time job to hold the boat and fish at the same time.

I just changed from the stock 2 blade MK prop to a 3 blade kipawa prop this past summer and it has much better performance especialy in the wind.

just ordered a kristler mag. TS 7' med. crankin rod directly from them. great customer service. website said they were out so I called , she said give me a couple mins. and I will try and find one. got a call back in 5 mins. 1 left and I got it. glad I checked with them , cabelas price $159.95 , kristler , $89.99 . come on spring time ! ;D

wifey just ordered my stx 7.1.1 , merry x-mas to me ! just need a new fish finder before next spring , cannot decide on one yet , keep reading and oh how I would like to be able to look under docks but the price , yikes !

tis the season for snow. boat is in the barn and I am sitting on the couch ordering fishing equipment wishing I were in my boat. probably go ice fishing this week and catch some toothy critters.

I have 3 J Morris sig reels and love them but others don't so oh well. I used an revo sx last yr. and fell in love with it. I am going to order a stx right now.

wundering if the stx is that much better than the sx. have a sx on the way and want to buy one more revo. read everything I could and don't really see a big differance. looking for opinions.

revo sx and veritas 7' med. only 3 1/2 more months of ice fishing to be able to use it though. :'(

would like to use someone on here if there is anyone [close to new england] that can service my casting reels this winter. would like upgrades done to some and some just cleaned and oiled. not happy with the service I had done last year. I am very careful with my reels , always covered when not in my hand.

I have 3 JM sig series reels and would not trade them for any other reel. They are smooth as glass and never had any trouble. JMO

those things look like the cusk up here except the cusk don't eat everthing that moves. sure hope you guys don't get over run with those things. good luck at controling them.

yes its a 6' and I am hooked on that length. I have 2 6'6" rods and 1 6'. Would love to trade the 6'6" for 6'
