  3. got my backstabbers today , they look really great. now only another month to try them !
  4. Like the title says. Just ordered 2 of them. It seems to make sense the way they are built , will give them a try.
  5. grind off the gelcoat before doing repair. use vinylester resin or west system epoxy. 1 layer of mat then 1 layer of 1808 will be more than enough then re gel.
  6. Hey Marc , another great looking crank. do you have them available in that natural shad like the one in the pic ?
  7. This is a good topic. I love to catch bass , I am expanding my techniques this year and really looking forward to all the new tackle. I do not really get motivated by anyone. I seem to always get fish but really enjoy seeing who ever is in the back of my boat have a great time. My fishing partner is pretty proud of himself when he catches more than me. I always make sure if I am up a bunch of fish to pull up to a good spot and let him throw a few casts first. My enjoyment comes from knowing I had alot to do with teaching him to be a better fisherman and all the different baits to try.
  8. Woooooo , those are so pretty Marc I won't dare use them ! thanks
  9. up here we call them jack smelts , they are great eating

  12. I have at the time a full size butt seat on a adjustable post. It is comfortable but just to wide for the front of a tracker pro 17. Tried a bicycle type I picked up at cabelas and hated that , killed my butt ! anyone have a good suggestion on a small comfortable seat ?
  13. thanks for the pics , that is probably the best style

  20. Big changes for me this year. Going from 6' bc rods to 7'. Also want to spend more time fishing cranks so I can learn when and where to use them. Started using spinnerbaits more last year and learned when they are at there best. I love fishing plastics and it is tough to quit and go to something else but this is the year !
  21. newbie to the forums , stinkus and I went to dicks saturday , great deals for sure. He snatched the last lucky craft crank for 5 bucks. we picked up a good amount of sk spinner baits , rage baits , rapala cranks and line. the only problem was we already went to cabelas firsrt and blew my big wad there. did the buying spree backwards for sure. :'(
