Ya know, you right about the power pro! It'll fresh water, fishing for bass. And the pilings are pilings from a bridge under the, Okeechobee canals. Mostly artificials, but I'll use live bait a couple times year.

I'll only be fishing the pilings 1 out of 20 trips. And mostly, I will be fishing pretty dense vegetation.

what's up with the daiwa braid , do you think it's alot better than power pro ??? i my self use power pro and i couldn't see myself paying $70.00 for a 300 yard spoll of braid . i do see it's alot thinner but is it as strong as power pro ???? . sorry to get off the subject of your post but you are the first person i've heard of wanting to buy that daiwa braid . just want to know if that stuff is really worth the extra $ 40 more per spool ........ I hear it's good! And at tackle warehouse, it's 45.00 bucks!

For Christmas I'm either gonna get some copoly, mono, or braid. I can't think of which one I should get. I'll be fishing pilings, and weeds most (lilly pads, reeds, hydrilla) stained, and muddy water. If I get braid it'll be power pro. If i get copoly, it will be yo-zuri ultra soft. And if I get mono it will be sufix elite. But of course, I'm open to suggestions!

I see these threads about peacocks, and hear they are some hard fighting fish! I was thinking that these things were only south of WPB but than I see Speed Worm in Gainesville, FL with a peacock! So back to the point: Were in Jupiter (or some were within 30 min of it) can you catch these things!
