How many carry while out fishing in the boat.
Don't own a boat but if I did, I would.

Shimano NASCI
I actually have a 2500 Bg on the way to me now. Had some bps cards to burn through and needed a reel that could handle salt and fresh. While I love shimano spinning and casting reels, I had to go with the diawa this time. It'll be the first Daiwa reel I've owned. If I wanted it for freshwater only, I probably would have went with the nasti.

New Fenwick AETOS rod - reel won't tighten down?
I had similar problems with my curado on the smallmouth rod. Excellent rod but man was it annoying. Almost cost me an arrowana! I added a small piece of heat shrink tubing to the reel feet and shrunk them down to fit. Easy on an off with no gross residue.

Reel advice for a St Croix Avid 6'6 ML
I have a stradic 1000 fk on my 7' ml/f avid x and love it. It's plenty reel for the rod.

1/16 hair jig
I love those spro phat flies. A real mutispecies bait that works year round for me. Mainly fishing small baits, almost all of my largest fish came on baits smaller than 3 inches and less than 3/16 oz.

Ar -15 Fan Boys?
No doubt it's filthy ammo. I've maybe shot 50 rounds in total through all of my handguns but never had a stuck case. I'm not the type to go through 200+ rounds in a session either so maybe that's why. I'll leave this here. Note they are shooting thousands of rounds of the given ammo during this test. http://www.luckygunner.com/labs/brass-vs-steel-cased-ammo/

Ar -15 Fan Boys?
Lol, this is mine. I have less than 100 rounds of SC rounds through it and have not had a single issue of any kind. All of the AR guys I spoke with before building mine said SC is gtg as long as it's not a steady diet. There is a blog somewhere that shows the savings you get from shooting SC as opposed to brass (if you shoot that much) can buy you a new barrel if yours gets jacked up and still have cash left over. I prefer brass. Have you had a bad experience ?

Ar -15 Fan Boys?
Got a chance to burn through some ammo with a coworker yesterday. And my coworker with some steel cased tula. Everyone came to see where the noise was coming from.

Preferred line for BFS setup?
I used 10/2 and 15/4 Powerpro on an avail 915 spool without issues.

Ar -15 Fan Boys?
I do, I do. Got less than 100 rounds through my pistol but man it fun... And loud. Very loud. Complete andro Corp upper on an Aero lower I assembled.

Hornady Clown Max Ammo
They've been lurking around schools down here and chasing kids from their bus stops. Thats not cool. It might take a few of these guys to play around with the wrong people before they learn not everyone will run and some will defend themselves. I personally don't think it's funny. Gold dots for me.

$45 for Citica D?
That's the first BC reel I owned and would still recommend it for the price and ease of use. Especially for that price. It's heavy as a brick but solid.

light or medium light
My primary and currently only complete spinning rig is a ML/F 2 piece Avid x. I've caught some healthy fish with this and even lighter rods when I had a bfs rig and an UL spinning. Proper drag and techniques will keep the fish buttoned. I mainly fish open-ish water (no tourneys either) and rarely lost a fish because of too light of a line. Light tackle definitely has its place but isn't for everyone. I don't fish as often or catch the heaps of fish other members do, but the ones I do catch are a blast. My baits weigh no more than 1/4 to 5/16oz total weight with very few exceptions.

Durable flukes?
I mainly use surper fluke jrs and they last me a while for the most part unless I get find a school of aggressive bass. The first part to tare is where the hook exits by the nose with a 1/0 Ewg. I'll save those baits and add a drop of mend it. Good as new. I've tried other brands but zooms does it for me.....if/when I can find bags without defects.

Medium/Fast or ExFast for fluke/weightless plastic rod?
Would a xf action work well for plastics with braid as a mainline? I've always used fast action rods.

Tattoo repaired plus a new one.
Good stuff sir.

Curado 50e for $120 - Yes or No
Ive bought all of the 51e's I've owned for $100-130 and sold them for the same price (only for other projects/interests) . Definitely my favorite reels/size I've fished with.

Tacos al pastor
Best tacos evar. Every new Mexican place I go, I first try their AL pastor or street tacos. If they can't get those right, next!

Has anybody tried a "drop shot fly"
Oh wow...

P-Line Fluoroclear reviews?
I use it in 6# as leader and I like it. Definitely not as abrasion resistant as cxx though.

Whatever happened to....
Any links to his work? Fishing took over my car audio obsession but I still appreciate the work that goes into building systems. I liked mrlighttackle's (I think that was his name) posts. He caught huge bass with bps micro light rods.
-
2-piece Rods?
Fwiw, my go to rod is a 2 piece avid x.
-
Show me your tackle bags/boxes!
Strictly bank fishing with 1 or 2 rods max. Depending where and how long I'll be out determines which bag I take. Though I have been taking the Plano bag a lot lately.
