Mystery solved...I concur Kriet Creature.As far as smell goes, it came in a Plano Organizer with Baby Ugly Otters, Itsabugs, Fighting Frogs, SK Tube Lizards, and Chigger Craws, so there's a combination of Garlic, Powerbait scent and who knows what else. Thanks for solving the mystery everyone.

I got this in a Plano box with other creatures. I recognize all of them except this one. The head has a pair of eyes molded into it. The main body is ribbed like a ringworm.

I heard something like Rojas making a comment about Alton being "Garbage"...now theres mud slinging, but that's just not cool.

Been hearing some stuff going about how Rojas criticized Jones in an interview for fishing his spot in a recent tourney.Apparently Rojas had some pretty harsh words aboutJones. Anyone hear about this or know where to find the Article/Video/interview online?

See what I'm sayin though..."angler x" needs 1-15 to make the cut (top 12) he weighs in 20-6... (which is way more than needed to make the cut) but ends up in 22nd place after he weighs in...so...how does that make sense? Or am I just not understanding things...please clarify. And then to add to that there were some anglers that needed 0-0 to make the cut. Did that mean there's no way they could make the cut or that even without wieghing in they had enough to make the cut?

I've been watching the Falcon Tourney wiegh in on Bassmaster.com. I'm confused at how the "brackets" work for qualifying to fish the next day. This is how I understand it on a 3 day tourney Day 1...everyone fishes...top 50 fish day 2 Day 2...Top 12 advance to day 3 Is this how it is? If so then why am I watching the day 2 weigh in seeing things like "angler x" needs 1-15 for the cut. After weigh in,"angler x" is sitting in 22nd place and weighed in 20-6. If he needed 1-15 for the cut and is now in 22nd place after weighing in 20-6 and if only the top 12 fish on day 3...see how its confusing? Can someone straighten me out on this?

Large head...long, skinny body. Could this be a spawned out female? That one eye is messed up too.Wonder if this could be a hinderance in predatory skills.

The only place that sells trolling motors locally is Walmart. I live in kind of a "one horse town" .Never seen shear pins or props at any Walmart I've ever visited...regardless of the location.

Do all pros have an official observer in the boat with them on Tourney days to ensure the catches are legal?

I was told it wasn't a total fish kill but was also told that because the Koi died that it was pretty bad

A local non managed pond I sometimes fish suffered a fishkill about 2 years ago.A lot of Bluegill, Green Sunfish, LMB and even a few large Koi died. I haven't fished the pond since then. This week I decided to go up and give it a try. On the first day, I threw a Rapala XR6 X-Rap and caught 9 fingerling Bass and one Bass that went 1.4#s. Today I went back and caught another 9 Fingerling Bass and one that went maybe 3/4 of a pound. Same lure, same presentation. On some casts, you'd see the fish just scatter, creating a lot of disturbance on the surface. With what has been mentioned, does it seem like this pond will likely make a good comeback in a few years?

I bought the TM used.I've purchased the aluminum rod at the hardware store and fashioned like 10 pins out of it and plan on fishing well away from rocks and such until I can get a proper pin.And I plan on getting a spare prop too...thanks for the advice.

I hear stories about success with Firetiger colors but I just can't find myself throwing them.Firetiger to me screams Walleye, Muskie, Pike and Perch, none of which we have locally...I know I'm probably missing out...

I have a 50# thrust trolling motor on my 12ft jon boat. The other day at the lake, the wind blew me into some rocks and I ended up breaking the shear pin. In emergency Macgyver style, I fashioned a replacement out of a cut down treble hook to get me back to the ramp. There's noone local that sells replacement shear pins, the closest place is 60 miles away and my other option is to order it online with the possibility of recieving the wrong one. Someone suggested going to the hardware store and getting some "hobby rod" made out of Brass and cut it to size. I also found some aluminum rod that will fit. Its 1/8 size. Think it will work?

Anyone ever use them with success? Which is the top and which is the bottom when rigging? Does it really matter or make a difference when rigging it? Do the claw appendages flutter like a Paca Craw or Rage Craw on the retrieve, or are they more like a Chigger Craw?

I know that the Neko rig can be used with floating, finesse and Trick worms. How abour other baits such as Craw Worms(Lake Fork Craw) and even Paca Craws and Rage Craws.Anyone use anything other than standard worms with the Neko rig? How's success been using craws and such on the Neko rig. I'm figuring it would be a great presentation to put the craw in a defensive posture...

In a pinch I have used a very large rock as a replacement when I couldn't get my anchor unstuck and had to cut the line. Of course it helps when your fishing out of a 12 ft jon boat. I don't get too serious about my equipment, but if I see something at a yardsale or swapmeet and I can use it for my boat, ill pick it up if its cheap enough. One year I even used an old rotor from a disc brake on a car. It was a floating style from a front wheel drive vehicle so the wasn't any grease from bearings to pollute the water...
