  1. I bought it all within a very short period of time. Normally, she's very supportive. I wouldn't have my boat if it weren't for her. She found it.
  2. Oh, the Bait Monkey...He caught up with me earlier this Spring. I picked up: 1 Curado 200E7 1 Symetre 2500 1 MH Crucial 1 MH Compre New seat and pedestal 30 bags of plastics 15 cranks 20 jigs 2 1/4 spools of Yo-Zuri Hybrid 2 spools of Power-Pro Stocked up on the basics: hooks, sinkers, jig heads Misc. "needs" for the boat If it weren't for the Compre/Symetre going to my wife, I may still be sleeping outside. I'm still working on her for a crankbait setup.
  3. ...at least it gets better gas mileage than Toyota and doesn't have hand warmers in the steering wheel like Dodge... ;D
  4. Just wait until it warms up. I wonder if any team will score 30 in the new stadium. How come the Yankees, with all of their power, aren't hitting as many home runs?? :-?
  5. He's off to a great start...just one ejection, right? I do think the third called strike was a ball, though.
  6. Did anyone enjoy CC's outing as much as I did? He couldn't even make it through the 4th inning. The Yankees should extend him now.
  7. Awesome, Brent. That's priceless.
  8. As Phil Collins sang, tonight's the night! Baseball is back!!! My predictions: - Manny will tank it sometime in the season - Tampa will not repeat their success from last year - New York will eat both Manuel and Girardi - The book about A-rod will distract him throughout the season I'm not certain about division winners or anything like that. A lot can happen through 162 games.
  9. Did Carrot Top grow facial hair and dye his fro? :-? You should wear that fishing one day. It may bring out the big ones.
  10. Well said, flechero.
  11. 1. Finding out I was going to be a father at a young age - It definitely changed my life for the better. I'm not sure where I'd be if it weren't for that. 2. Getting married - Like M Starr, it was weird introducing my wife. 3. Quiting my job in Tennessee and moving to Louisiana with my new wife - "Scary" describes the experience perfectly. I left everything and everyone I knew. After a year and a half, I couldn't be more pleased with how things have turned out.
  12. We don't know factually if McDaniels lied to him. Repeatedly, McDaniels has stated he listened to an opportunity to improve his team, which is his responsibility. Cutler has whined, demanded to be traded, went AWOL, and now states he never wanted to be traded. Cutler also asked that Shanahan's staff be retained after the coach was fired. This kid thinks he's bigger than the team and has no clue what being a leader is about. Denver made the right move. ...but he didn't almost lose his job. He still would have been paid according to his contract (as he will be paid with the Bears). Had the Broncos told him they were committed to him privately and publicly, and then cut him, I would be more understanding.
  13. Just a few more days...Any predictions now that Spring Training is coming to an end?
  14. For the sake of my sanity, I hope the trade ends Cutler's whining. This kid has a lot of growing up to do.
  15. I'm a work-in-progress. I'm comfortable with several presentations, but I don't feel I have a go-to yet. I'd say I'm really good at being persistent. Maybe it's my pride. When I hit the lake, I'm going to catch fish. I may hit several spots. I may change lures frequently. But I will catch fish.
  16. I think it's a phenomenal idea, Catt. Whatever you choose, don't over-commit yourself. Since you're not doing this for monetary reasons, you can focus on just what you want to do - teaching. When my grandfather retired, he seriously pursued wood carving. It's been a passion since he was young. At times, though, his enjoyable hobby becomes quite taxing. Just food for thought... If and when you get your structure fishing class going, let me know. I'd like to book an appointment.
  17. You could put them on ice...or go the 12 gauge route.
  18. I'm 5'6" and have no problem using a 7' rod. Once you get used to it, no problemos.
  19. I saw that on Sportscenter last night. He really lives in a fantasy land. Boston put up with his childishness, fake injuries, and pouting. The fans loved Manny. He was treated far better than he deserved. I wonder how long he'll be content with the Dodgers. As long as Torre continues to let him walk all over him and the rest of the team, he'll love it.
  20. What's so wrong with being bold in your 20s? :-? I'd suggest a running program. There are tons of them.
  21. ...same here.
  22. Nirvana - Nevermind (with Unplugged a very close 2nd) Metallica - Toss up between Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets Slipknot - Slipknot 10 Years - Killing All That Holds You I doubt many of you have heard of the last band. I've followed them since they were a local band in TN. As most bands, they're trending the wrong way after signing on with a major record label. :
  23. Congrats!
