  1. I can fish with a different member of my family each day for almost two weeks. There's always someone wanting to go fishing.
  2. I vaguely remember fishing for bream when I was very young. However, I vividly recall the numerous weekend trips me and my dad would take with my uncles and cousins. My dad had a knack for finding a good catfishing spot. We'd head out as soon as he got home from work on Friday and sneak back in the early hours of Saturday morning. We caught fish and enjoyed the company of our family. From then on, I've always associated family with fishing. Luckily, I married into a family of fishermen (and fisherwomen) to continue what I enjoyed so much growing up. We have a small pond on our property, and when the weather is nice, I take my daughter fishing. It's something we do together - just like me and my dad when I was young.
  3. That's my favorite part. Consider yourself very lucky. I can't think of too many men who fish with their wives.
  4. I'm a Jack White fan, but I think "genius" is stretching it. Talented - yes. Once-in-a-Lifetime - no.
  5. Any survivors? ;D
  6. Same here. I know why I'm there. I know what I'm looking for. I don't mind if an employee asked me if I need any help finding something, but I do mind if an employee starts a sales pitch.
  7. Louisiana's fishing license runs from July 1 - June 30. The basic license costs $9.50. If you want to fish in saltwater, add $5.50. We're pretty cheap compared to other states.
  8. So, AJ convinced you to go see it? ;D ...you know how I know you're gay?
  9. We can't exclude all the other players who've juiced. Imagine the size of that bus.
  10. I'm not shocked. The Mitchell Report made one thing clear: steroids and HGH were used by many players, from up-and-comers to well established stars. The more this drags on, the worse MLB looks. I think it's time to close this can of worms and move forward.
  11. Well said. Keep in mind, everyone that passes leaves someone behind who cares about them. In this case, he left behind a young child, his wife, his parents, and those who looked up to him. Despite his line of work, that's a very sad situation for anyone to be in.
  12. When is this going to end??? Favre, let it go...
  13. It's tragic for a family to lose one so young.
  14. I've played on and off for about 10 years. I can't seem to devote the time to it that I'd like. As MitchIsFishin recommended, learn scales, progressions, etc. They're more valuable than learning songs.
  15. Congrats, Gramps! I'm glad to hear everyone is well.
  16. My wife says the same thing. She watches Food Network quite a bit, and now that I think about it, I don't think she watches any skinny chefs.

;D I don't think men and women are supposed to understand each other. What fun would that be??
  18. Glenn, I am certain very few (if any) members subscribe to or entertain PETA's propaganda. With that in mind, I would believe we're not helping their campaign succeed. I thought we could have a laugh at their ignorant methods of protest.
  19. Very nice fish. 8-) I'd like to land at least one of those.
  20. Mike's correct. The gallery is of the Elite Series pros, not the Classic field.
  21. ...doesn't sound like a good thing.
  22. ...morons. : http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/9201478/PETA-uses-KKK-imagery-at-dog-show-protest?MSNHPHMA
  23. I'd agree if I was a Saints fan. ;D
