Hey Fellas; I am on my way to Brooklyn, as I was leaving and packing our the truck with my shopping list from Elaine, my landlord came out and told me they had a package they signed for yesterday. IT IS MY DIPLOMA

For many an Associates degree is not much for me it is a miracle

At 41 I was homeless and unemployable. Thanks to a lot of help from my NA brothers and sisters, my life has been a string of miracles for the last 17 years. I got a lot of support here from Long Mike, RW, Risk Kid,LBH, Brent and especially GHOTI.

Now I am a Mook with a Degree, UNBELIVEABLE

   CONGRATULATIONS!

Congrats

I got an Associates degree, then a Bachelors. The work load for the Associates was just as difficult as the Bachelors. Don't sell your accomplishment short. Congratulations.

Way to go Dom!!!  Don't be surprised when you get a pm from me asking for some help on my HW!!!

Congrats!  I don't care what anyone says but even an Associates degree takes some hard work.  I'm 31 and about halfway through with mine.    BTW, what was your major?  Mines criminal justice.

Dominick,

You endured and all that hard work has paid off.  Congratulations!!  I'm very proud to see all that you've accomplished.

Great job!!

Stacy

It's about time!!!!  Now you can move up to burgers and off of fries.

;D

Way to go Muddy!

You have an inspiring story to tell and If you ever write a book about your life, I'll be first in line to buy a copy.

Congrats!

Thanks to all. There will be no book about my life. Nothing spectacular about making bad choices and substance abuse. I am grateful I was rescued from active addiction, but there are no parades to be thrown out of finally doing what is basically expected of every man.

I wish everyone who once made bad choices and is now doing the right thing had this outlook on life.  Kudos to you Dom.

You might be a crazy old mook, but your humility is honorable.   :)

Fantastic!  Absolutely fantastic.  I can't even begin to tell you how proud I am of you.  I, too, have an associates degree, and know firsthand it is NOT an easy cakewalk!  Kudos to you for sticking with it and seeing it through to completion.  Not everyone has that kind of fortitude.
