Opinions On Mislabeling
I'd take the price on a mistake every time, with no reservations, and have done so. I don't view a mis marked item having any relationship to theft.

All About The Weather
Actually many of times I have a smart phone in my pocket. Without some one else there to snap a pic, the photo worthy fish are not shown true justice by just laying them on the ground, kinda pointless to take a pic of 5 pounder. Recent jack, the picture does not tell the story.

Favorite bait, weather, and cover
I pass up a lot of fish by not using techniques that I find to be unexciting. For freshwater, cloudy day, moderate breeze, pretty much any moving bait. Inshore I prefer 15-20 mph, 4' surf, outgoing tide with "foamy" water and top lures or spoons. A day like this is my favorite way to fish.

What A Time For Detroit Sports
Penalties and all San Fran deserved the victory, the Lions were flat and were outplayed. I said it before, the Lions are not a complete team, they lack a ground game, after they got the lead a good game may have insured a victory for them. I think Schwartz over reacted. I think the reason the Lions lost is because I bought a LIons T-shirt.

All About The Weather
The last couple of days have been very disappointing, the mullet have really thinned out and fish haven't come in. In all fairness sometimes it takes a few days after the wind starts blowing for the fish to come in, so I'm optimistic for today. We had a good 30mph wind and heavy seas, a fisherman's dream , all i got was 1 small snook and a jack off the beach. Hit the ICW and did a little better. I have been meaning to get up to Sebastian for years, can't seem to make it......lol

When To Use Braid
I agree with you. My Avet is used for double duty, both private and drift boats. The drift boats here don't allow braid, tangling with mono is a nightmare and lines are always getting cut. I mainly fish from private boats (maybe on a drift boat 2 or 3 times this year) and always use braid, my Avet really gets limited use. My #1 outfit is Penn Conquer 7000 with 20# braid on a 30# class boat rod, big enough for sailfish and good sized dolphins and kings.

Few Choices In 7'6" Mhf Rods?
Tom I'm not going to pit 1 brand against another, I'm sure the Mojo is a good rod. As far as casting distance I don't see much of a difference in 7' and 7'6, Both have more than enough backbone, I prefer a 7' when it's very windy, it's just easier to handle. Only thing I will say is I really like my rods and everyone else that has tried them goes out and buys one, I would have no qualms in using them in freshwater, i actually do have a light action( my favorite brand) I use for pond use. I'm sure the Mojo is a good rod, but many other good brands out there as well. For me I buy rods by trial and error, if I make a mistake, which I have done many times, it's a learning experience, I do not rely on recommendations by others, so don't take mine....lol.

Shimano Stradic Ci4 1000Fml
I think he means the tightening knob, I don't know what you call it either without looking it up. I have had that happen on inferior reels, both directions, but not on a stradic. Stradics are one of the better reels in that price range and the drag should work perfect. The reel needs to be serviced by an expert, I would not think it's a serious repair.

I Think I Figured Out Why I Keep Getting Skunked.
If anyone catches legal fish using legal means it's entirely their business what they do with their fish. If you can't catch one, IMO they are not the problem. Where I live there a lot of people less fortunate then myself, they need the fish to eat and some sell them, glad to say they don't ask me for money. No question about it, they are not sportsmen, but do sportsmen have more of a rights? Yesterday morning I was fishing one my choice spots, others fish there too, 2 fathers with 2 sons were behind me with castnets, yes they were annoying. I did not want to hook one of those kids on my back cast, I just left, avoiding any problem or a confrontation,it isn't worth it. Frankly, what I find troubling on this thread is singling out some nationalities that may have a different ethnic background. Let us not forget we all can trace our roots to immigrants, except those of aboriginal descent.

Ques About Vegatation?
Personally I do my best to avoid those areas, I do not like pulling in a 2# fish with 5# of weeds hanging on. When I must I use a fluke rigged weedless with no weight and fish over the weeds or along the sides.

Few Choices In 7'6" Mhf Rods?
No reason why you can't use a saltwater rod for bass. I have several 7'6 mh heavy spinning rods, imo that's too much rod, maybe that's why not many bass rods available. Personally, I'd stick with what you already have.

All About The Weather
Wind just turned yesterday, from past experiences it's not an instant turn on, may take a day or 2 for the fish to come in. Picking the right place is always a question, north is generally the best or down in the keys, south and central Palm Beach are not the best. it's a crap shoot, which beach is going to have a good trough, how much seaweed is coming in, or can you reach the water on the outgoing tide with 20+mph. Spoons are your best best, thin profile ones are good to cut thru the wind and less and they pick up less seaweed. If the white bait comes in the fish won't be far behind, no bait, no fish.

What A Time For Detroit Sports
68' was a great series, Lolich (no longer has his lake Orion donut shop) not McLain, who won 31 games that year, won 3 games and Mickey Stanely came in from centerfield to play short. Impossible not to think about Kaline in that series, a true superstar and gentleman. If memory serves me correct they were down 4 games to 2. Great downtown celebration, I was riding around on a Detroit hook and ladder fire truck. The last game was in St Louis, and Detroit erupted seconds after the game ended, very cool.

Old Faithful
Believe me it's a rarity, only a few times during the fall mullet run is the action fast and furious like that. Most of the year if we 1-4 in an outing it's a success. You can pop the dog, walk the dog and do both at the same time, but with fast action like we have had just reel it in slowly, no need to work it. Today was quiet, caught 1 snook on it, nothing else was around.

All About The Weather
Starting today we have NE 15-20 mph, with only 2-4' surf and the outgoing tide. keep my fingers crossed , should be a very good week., this is fishing weather.

Which Is Bigger
I believe it's the same fish too, they both have the identical white spot on the gill, same shadow line on the cooler . It's a good looking fish.

Old Faithful
I don't really favor one over another for actually catching fish, but I have been favoring a mirrorlure poppa dog . Without doubt it's the most durable lure I have ever used, have caught well over 100 jacks, bluefish and ladyfish in a few days and the lure is none the worse for wear, hooks remain perfect too. I have been using the same poppa dog for bass too,

Best Conditions For Fluke?
I prefer fishing with exposed hooks but that is not always possible. When I use flukes for freshwater I work them on the surface or just barely under, I don't twitch them, I kind of move the bait with a slow forearm motion, the hits are usually on the pause. I employ the exact same retrieve for saltwater, fluke type baits are a mainstay there.
-
White Treble Hooks?
I may like the action of 1 lure compared to another but in the end it's up to the fish, not me, I'm doing the presenting but they are doing the biting. Needless to say at times fish do not always cooperate to my satisfaction, for me it has nothing to do with confidence favoring 1 lure over another. So often after I've caught 1 fish I change lures just for variety, my production is generally at a constant level, I have confidence in me, not what lure I'm using.

When To Use Braid
It's always windy here and I use braid 100% time( except offshore) with only 1 issue and it isn't the wind. I get wind knots, even if there is no wind on a certain brand of spinning reel, where as using the identical line and identical rods on different brands wind knots never happen. I can't seem to figure out why, in time I'll phase out those reels. Keeping less line on the spool is a big help, so I'm not using that outfit for fish that run a lot.

White Treble Hooks?
IMO, it's an exercise in futility. Everything works some of the time, nothing works all of the time.

What A Time For Detroit Sports
Considering the Lions have been in or close to the cellar for 50 some odd years, they have had some great drafts and players. In the 90's Herman Moore, Chris Spielman, Barry Saunders and several other notables, unfortunately no outstanding QB and Wayne Fontes( he loved to hang out at the Eaton St bar in Birmingham). I think the difference now, in additional to some good players, is the coaching.

Using Alligators As A Reference
I was followed around by a good size gator the other evening, what made me extra aware was this was a golf course gator, they see people all day. The ones that have no fear are the ones to stay away from.

Kvd Signature Spinning Rod Review
You gave good credible review, field testing is the true judge. My last freshwater spinning rod was bought and returned 3 times before I was happy. Just me Strike #1 would have killed the deal before I got out of the store, I am emphatic about having a foregrip.

You And I
I think she's great ! The list of artists outside the mainstream in all forms of art is endless. Dylan, Carlin, George Harrison, Salvatore Dali, even Mozart was off the beaten path for his time period.
