Vertical structure/cover (bluff walls/standing timber) is what you should be targeting. Bass relate to that this time of year.

I have a map of lake that I fish alot. I have electronics, but the map has kind of helped me to understand a little bit better on why I was catching fish in one spot and not another. So I know how the the points and such are shaped, I know what to look for on my electronics

I am going to have disagree with the Iraq part, the survey was from '01 and kicked off in '03. I was one of those service men over there fishing though. I think that social trends( Technology toys, fatherless familes,etc.) have caused the decline, but Fish Chris is right we need to be aware of those nasty special interests who like to take away fishing rights.

I would think so but it would depend on the conditions on the lake your on and the amount of weight/distribution of weight you have.

Well as a Colts fan, I am happier to be playing the Patriots than the Chargers. The Colts have already beat the Pats this year in Foxborough, I know that means nothing in the playoffs, but it does show that it can be done. The resurgence of the Colts D is a a positive for the Colts, and if the O can get it together, this could be the Colts year. Like I said in a previous post I had written off the Colts in their loss to Houston; I am not 100% positive that they could go all the way, but it is possible. I do agree with you fivebasslimit, I would like to see someone other than NE in the Super Bowl.

I have had no prob with them, caught some fish got snagged in some trees.

I am a Colts fan, and after their loss to Houston I wrote them off in the playoffs. I cant say that they will make it all the way, but there is hope. The D has been great, but if the offense can get to the same level they will be dangerous.
