  1. Well, if you said the sun was out today, then you may be in for a good day. I would find the first drop off close to where you saw fish the days before, and work my way up. The fish may start moving shallow after the front has past.
  2. If the water is clear you might want to use natural colors/patterns
  3. Main lake points would be a good place to hit this time of year.
  4. If you want the worm to "float" use a light wire hook. The sink rank is going to depend on how heavy your hook is. The only downfall of a light wire hook is that they can be bent easily, but not so easily that youll lose fish. Just keep an eye on the hook as you fish.
  5. I used to live in South GA, Gators everywhere, I have found that they are more afraid of you than we are of it. As long people dont feed them they will keep there distance. I have fished at night and have no problems with gators
  6. Well it depends on the season, but bass are everywhere in the water column. There are usually some shallow, some mid, some deep. Water clarity and mood will determine from how deep a bass will hit top water.
  7. But you could use my wife's theory on color selection, the prettier the better
  8. I prefer natural colors, its easier to fool fish that think they are going after something natural
  9. Well with no depth finder you will have to find them yourself. This time of year you can find fish at all levels; shallow, mid-range, and deep. Depending on the body of water will determine how deep "deep" is. You may have to deal with a thermocline. If you can find shallow cover you should do well there.

One trick I have heard of is using a white spinnerbait and see how far down it goes before it disappears.
  11. The same thing you do only with less shoe leather lost
  12. Look under their skirts ;D
  13. Aeroator seem to keep live bait alive longer
  14. small spoon would work too
  15. Maybe you should consider using a rod with less of a butt
  16. All of those are big bass baits. Personally, I would start with the buzzer.
  17. If you are catching fish and then they stop, the fish may haved deeper or to tighter to cover, etc Youre question about switching lures, the problem may not be what you are using but how you are presenting it.
  18. Well at 60 degrees they may be starting the spawn around the next full moon. If rainbow trout are there, then that would be primary forage for them. Try a swim bait in that color
