  1. which flints pond? flints pond in hollis,nh has a boat access of nartoff rd and flints pond in tyngsboro,ma has a real nice boat launch behind the fire station.
  2. boat is registered. --- 8-)the outlaw fisherman.
  3. locust pond is on locust rd. if you turn off the dw highway onto locust rd there is an opening between some trees and a guard rail on the left. we put in there. you can also see it from the highway(rt.3 north). we are will to travel to any part on mass that is close. busted??? for what? we are looking for smaller bodies of water suited to a 12' jonboat and electric trolling motor.
  4. we have had luck at the following places; mill pond, nashua lovewell pond, nashua(caught crappie) nashua river, nashua/ hollis horseshoe pond, merrimack horseshoe pond, concord merrimack river, hudson/nashua otternic pond, hudson musquash pond, hudson flints pond, hollis flints pond, tyngsboro, ma locust pond, tyngsboro, ma massabesic lake, auburn places weve fished but not has luck yet; robinson pond, hudson natacook lake, merrimack eayers pond, hudson we are looking for new places to fish or to trade information about where/what weve had luck with. looking for more productive bass fishing spots to get the kids interested again
  5. nice unhbass. weve been all over lately. we caught more pickeral at flints pond in hollis and tried otternic pond in hudson twice and caught a pickeral and a bass. shoreline wasnt productive so we used the fishfinder to find some structure in the middle. fishing is real slow there and the weeds havent fully developed yet. saw a guy out there that said they are going to poison the milfoil and fanwart. we tried the pennachuck water works off tinker road in nashua for about 20 minutes but it was too crowded on the shoreline. we didnt want to risk losing the boat to fish and game although ive heard about people putting boats in there. flints pond in tyngsboro has been productive for us down back in the pads. saturday we managed to get on locust pond in tyngsboro. we caught six bass and one pickeral. caught a small bass saturday evening at dusk twitching a floating minnowat mill pond, but everything else has been caught on senko's and spinnerbaits.
  6. went to flints pond again today with my wife and son. i caught 7 pickeral, son caught a bass and a pickeral and my wife caught a perch. we were in concord,nh earlyer in the day(had to sort out my boat registration) and since we were up there and had the rods in the car we hit horseshoe pond(in concord) for 20 minutes. my wife caught a pickeral and it started to rain so we came back to town. heres the pictures of my sons fish from today.
  7. thats great. sometimes when im desperate to catch something cause the bass aint biting ill throw on a jig/grub or inline spinner and catch sunfish. the actual thing that got us back into fishing was taking the kids sunfishing. where did you go? seen a bunch being pulled out at the boat launch at mill.
  8. were both using spinning rods. i like the braided line alot except it seems to tangle real easy and if you get a big tangle you might as well cut the line. nots are real hard to pick out. its hard to cut too so weve been using swivels when we know we will be switching lures often. casts pretty good though and pretty indistructable imo.
  9. nice one unhbass37. the pickeral were out in full force again today at flints pond. we dont mind catching them, to us its better than nothing. i also caught another perch. we are using $1 spinnerbaits from walmart and are having a blast ripping them through weeds, brush and lilypads, learning how to fish them without losing them. having a boat and using braided line helps.
  10. went to flints pond in hollis today with the wife after work for a couple hours. we caught a bunch of pickeral in less than 3 feet of water. i had a few big ones and a good sized perch come off but the wife reeled in a real nice one. ended up leaving cause the wind made manuvering the boat kind of aggravating. had fun anyways. sorry, no pics.
  11. fished the nashua canal. another perch for :-/ me.
  12. no luck at horseshoe pond yesterday. we fished the whole perimiter of the pond using cranks, jigs, spinerbaits, senco's, and spinners. saw a couple schools of fish on the fishfinder but they wernt interested in what we were throwing. guess its back to mill pond today. wife want to explore the canal. heard there are some big ones in there.
  13. went to mill pond for a couple hours today. there was alot of boat traffic but we got there first and hit the good spots. wife caught two bass, but i got to hold thr bigger one. i caught a perch. everything was caught on crankbaits. tried spinnerbaits and jigs with no luck.
  14. went to massabesic yesterday and shorefished form the auburn side at the park. no luck, even with night crawlers. hopefully going to mill pond today.
  15. my buddy caught two crappie at lovewell today. were gonna give them to the Kambodian ladys at work. they get mad when i dont keep any fish for them.
  16. caught this overly ambitious sunfish on a lure as big as him at round pond. also had a bass follow my lure to the boat and jump out of the water and miss at the last second. lots of turtles sunning today.
  17. nice fish!!! at the pond we usualy go crappie fishing at we usualy fish for them around brush growing out of the water. we have also caught them in the middle. weve caught all of ours on jigs and when the fish are in the right mood its non-stop action. we have caught over 50 crappie in less than two hours once.
  18. nice. heres our(my sons) personal best.
  19. i dont think there are any smallmouth there. the clarks book says; largemouth, bluegill, chain pickeral, crappie, hornedpout, sunfish, and yellow perch. crappie fishing is suppossed to be exceptional there. your inflatable will be fine there. me and the wife went once in a canoe. almost got swamped by some speedboat, but if you go durring the week you should be fine. your probably a little safer in you inflatable than a canoe. i see people fish the middle alot, so with a fish finder it shouldnt be too hard to find the structure to fish. one thing ide like to try there is to float a jig/grub or bucktail jig three feet under a bobber. this is suppossed to be a great way to find crappie. if you set up a few rods like this and drive around with this setup its called "spider rigging"
  20. i have fished robinson pond once but had no luck. its pretty tough when its windy there since there is no cover. beware of the f**king a**holes on speedboats who dont have any respect for people on small craft. place is a magnet for idiots. anyways, my neibor has fished there quite a bit, since he grew up in hudson. he says to fish the back(where the houses are). we are suppossed to head out there sometime soon. i can post the info i have from the clarks book if you are interested(depths, ect). anyways, i went to beaver brook(side of rt.111 hudson/windham) today for about an hour. i found out from a guy from work that they stocked it with trout last week. he caught nine over the weekend just using worms. i tried some mepps spinners today and after losing two of them in the rocks called it quits.
  21. it was nice to meet you to. we didnt stick around long because my freind was up visting and we had had a couple brews before leaving the house and it was kinda hard focusing on fishing. my wife just wanted to get out of the house so we figured we would show him the pond. nice boat. looks like it scoots around pretty good.
  22. how are you fishing those jigs? are you dragging them on the bottom?
  23. thanks. ill try that. i shore fished mill pond for an hour today around 6:00 and caught this little guy.
  24. went back to musquash with my MIL's neibor. he used to fish there alot as a kid and knows the pond real good. we didnt catch anything. the clarks book is right, musquash is on its last legs as a fishery. what are you using for bait at mill pond? my buddy caught all those fish yesterday with a crankbait and while we were there a guy from shore caught a 3 pounder with a spinnerbait.
  25. everything was caught at mill pond. going out today. not sure where though.
