where is everybody catching there fish? we went and checked out scobie pond in londonderry yesterday for the first time but it was too windy and we got aggravated and went home. we went to visit my parents in hampstead today so we stopped by balard pond in derry along the way and shore fished but had no luck. we also checked out great pond in kingston and fished from the park side. had a couple bites from the shore but it started raing heavy and the park police(?) sent us home.

those look sweet but thats a little bit too expensive for me. were still on our first 25 pack of gamakatsu 2/0 ewg's that i bought at cabela's at the begining of the season. my wife usualy prefers using red anodised laser 1/0 ewg's. we've been trying some senko knockoffs from strikeking lately. not sure if theres been any real difference in our luck. there $2.99 a pack at walmart and they have watermelon w /red and black flake(my favorite color), not that i beleive at all that color matters, since we've caught fish on every color weve thrown in the same day. we also picked up some berkley powerbait senko knockoffs but there not worth getting the stink on your hands or tackle box and they dry out if you leave them out of the pack. just like the gulp containers, the packages dont reseal.

havent tried them. please post a picture of them. we went to 3rd swamp in hudson today and the wife caught a 2 pound pickeral on a spinnerbait. hoping to head out later on the boat.

good looking fish!!! i had a couple of hours to kill yesterday so i headed out to the old "bensons animal park" in hudson. theres ALOT of water/swamp/marsh/mud out there and i had heard there was some big pickeral there back in the day. i only caught one fish but i had fun wandering around the woods by myself. this was one of those trips where you need to check yourself for ticks when you get back. felt like i was in the rain forrest.

nice fish guys. heres MY(not the wifes) only bass of the weekend. i caught 6 pickeral saturday. first official weighed fish. (i like guessing better). 1lb15oz.

took my neice and sister out sunfishing today. i was too busy baiting hooks to fish myself, but my neice caught a couple biggies. saw a school of bass fry today for the first time. nice big bass in the middle warding off sunfish. i have to say it was doing a decent job, but it looked like a losing battle. and i thought raising a couple kids was stressfull!!!

just a cheap berkley digtal. we were looking for something with a "lipper" built in, but this is all we could find.

we finaly got a scale friday night. hopefully we keep catching them like this. i caught a 9oz bass yesterday in the canal.

we went last week and didnt have any luck. saw a couple other boats. .

i didnt catch carp, i caught crap(nothing). there was two other boats out there today. there wasnt enough weeds for us. we like fishing pads.

me, my wife and my son were bored so we went fishing at "secret spot" around 8:00pm tonight and my son caught a monster bass. it had to be at least 4+ #'s. i tried taking a pic with my cell phone but it was too dark. i thought that he was caught in the weeds when he yelled "help me!!!", but i think he was scared, because he backed up 3 feet and sat down to real it in. really wish i had a picture. im so proud.

weve been catching everything on senko's and spinnerbaits.

go past grealy(?)park heading north on concoed st. turn right after convenience store on right. follow to end, road curves left, dirt road on right. go over rail road tracks, turn right, follow to ramp.

im not sure that color really matters, but weve had luck throwing every color we have; watermelon, pumpkin, purple and charctuce(?). we usualy t-rig them weightless, but my wife had luck today wacky rigging them weedless. there was a post somewhere on this board on how to do the later. basicly, if we cant get a bite on a spinnerbait we slow down and throw the senco's.

took my son and his coisin sunfishing at the nashua canal off of ledge st and they caught 14 fish altogether. we saw a couple of big bass. some of them were chasing the sunfish as they realed them in. me and the wife ended up going to robinson pond this afternoon and we caught two bass an one pickeral. we caught everything in the pads out back on senco's. around 5:30 we got the urge again so we decided to see if we could catch some bass in the canal. we didnt have any luck until we ended up at this spot we'll call "secret spot". i ended up catching two. one of them was worth photographing.

good job man. did you fish the shore down back? what bait were you using? we went to mill pond for a half hour yesterday and i caught 2 small ones from the shore on a spinnerbait. its starting to get thick in there. today we went to natacook in merrimack and caught 6 fish. 3 bass, 2 pickeral, and a sunfish that was built like a brick. all on senco's. not sure where were going tomorow, but we were thinking either massabesic or potomic, but those waters are so big were not sure where to fish them. and ideas?

took a personal day with the wife and went it out to locust again. wife caught two bass and two pickeral and i caught one bass and a good sized pickeral. i told her she always catches more cause i have to drive the boat. thats my story and im sticking to it.
