That is a lot of fun, also catching herring on a sabiki rig is great for kids and is great bait for the striper run.

I have tried them but never owned one. From my limited experience they seemed to do what they were supposed to. My only problem is with the knobs. I just don't like the round design.

I don't know who he was but I know how you feel. When Harry Kalas died (the legendary Phillies announcer) I was pretty upset. You get so used to hearing that persons voice or seeing them on tv. I just sucks.

Die hard Is a great movie but come on. Sure it is set during Christmas but I wouldn't call it a Christmas movie. I guess I will add trading places as a great "christmas movie"

I am the same way and probably have more soft plastics than I will use in 100 lifetimes.

I consider myself to be primarily a bass fisherman but I do fish for other species. I really enjoy stripers, they are one of my favorites. I am also willing to fish for crappie, bluegill, chain pickerel or what ever else is around. Someday I need to get me a peacock bass.
