Me and my brother went out yesterday for a few hours and did better than expected in that Is was cold. We boated 11 with a nasty fighting blackfish to boot. I caught mine on a R.I. Skinny Dipper(bullfrog) swam slowly on the bottom and he caught his on a Zoom 4" Dead Ringer.(black) There were many slow periods but when the bass decided to eat they crushed either bait. It was getting near the time to leave and we decided to fish one last 30 yard stretch and I'm glad we did! I have no real Idea of the weight but It did measure close to 24". I'm heading home for Thanksgiving and doing a little fishing at the family private pond. I'm going to throw the Skinny Dipper for a bit and am wondering If any of you folks throw these and what size hook you generally use. Thanks for any Input!

I like and fish Zoom plastics a lot and this year picked up a few bags of Magnum finesse worms. I can't say enough good things about that worm. Black was the best producer but Houdini was durn good in certain conditions.

Siebert jigs.... Black, Bluegill, and White/shad. On occasion, when the mood strikes, I will throw Falcon craw.
