Favorite finesse plastic worms
Zoom...... A 4" dead ringet6 on a shakey head has caught a lot of fish for me. Also like @Bluebasser86, a magnum finesse worm is a mainstay for me.

2018 GEICO BASSMASTER CLASSIC
@Cdewyse I take a bus that's provided by the city of Greenville from the Expo to the weigh-in site. It's best to get in line early for the weigh- in.... They don't open the doors early and the line wraps around the block quickly.

How to fish rock quarry’s
If it were me I would fish this place at night. I would throw a black spinnerbat. A 8" Zoom big dead ringer, and a Siebert outdoors brush jig.

Fun weekend
I made a promise to myself to actually fish more last year and did a poor job with that goal but the priorities of life carry with it an undeniable responsibility to family. That said I WILL FISH MORE this year and finally purchase the new boat! I didn't have a ton of time yesterday nut ran down to a local pond for three hours and had a blast. It was a dink fest and it didn't matter what I did I couldn't get that bigger bite. It was a great day. It was raining this morning so I decided not to mess with the boat and head back to the pond. I knew it would deserted and peaceful. I didn't get a bite for the first two hours. I saw many cruisers but they had no interest in anything I threw. I learned a good lesson today; I wasn't wanting to go home so I put on a R.I. Skinny Dipper and made a long cast parallel down the bank and ran it just about the emergent weed line and had a nice blow up but missed the hook up. It started to pour the rain and the harder it rained the better the fishing. The next hour I landed 5 with the biggest going 2. I missed twice that many. In summation, while nothing big was caught it was great to be back fishing!
