lolol...I know exactly what you guy's are talkin' about..lol... I fill up my cup on my airbrush with the crackle medium, pull the needle back just a hair( it's a little thicker than paint), and shoot the area I'm going to crackle. Make sure to put it on kinda thick. Then I will take a small brush and make brush stroke's in it and spread it around. Then crackle is supposed ( ) to follow the brush stroke's. Let it set until almost dry. then spray your paint thick over top of it. Hit it with the blowdryer and hope it work's.. lol. The trick is the dry time. If you have puddle's of it on the bait the crackle will just pull apart wherever the puddle is. I've actually let it dry (about 10min) and had it work great. Once...or twice.... .. Have fun with it.....

It's a crackle medium you can buy at walmart or hobby lobby. Very cool stuff but hard to get it consistant, it has a mind of it's own....!

For the eye's, Use a hole punch and punch a hole in some paper. Use it as a stencil for your spraypaint. Should work fine... Personally I use the base of drill bit's. Just dip in paint, and press on the bait...

I got my hand's on some allen lures 'MILO's this week. They are some of the best lipless bait's ever made! They have a big knocker in the front and rattles in the back. All I could get are the 1oz, which kinda worried me but after trying them out Sunday I don't have a problem with them. They run about 4ft at a steady retrieve. Caught a 2 1/2lber on my 3rd cast with one. Had to paint them up and here are some of the pattern's I came up with. What do you think.. Joe always let's me get a little crazy on the prize crank's for TX3 Bass, so here's some off the wall crank's I did for him.. I wish the picture's would have come out a little better but one of my '4' kid's seem's to have misplaced my good camera. Of course they all said they haven't seen it but one of them has quite a few new picture's on their myspace page!!! :cussin:

Just called and talked to them, the guy had no idea what I was talking about until he checked his faxes and said yes they are doing away with the outdoor show's. I asked where can I sign the petition to get it back! I figure enough people call in maybe they will think it might have been a mistake...

I prefer the Hp-B. It's a gravity fed gun and has a smaller cup than all the rest which is nice when your only using drop's at a time. The hp-b plus has the cut out for adjusting the needle but I hardly ever use that so I opted for just the Hp-b. You certainly won't regret going with an Iwata, worth every penny...!

Take your nozzle tip off and hold it up to the light, if you can see light it's probably alright, if you got a booger up in it you probably wont see light and the paint won't flow. Just try not to drop it!

lol. I've nuked it quite a few time's too! I don't make rod's but I custom paint crank's and another trick that work's is to heat up the bait (just a little) and then apply the epoxy. Bubble's pop on contact. I would imagine it would work with rod's also...

or just hit it with a blow dryer on low after you mix the heck out of it.. That's pretty cool though.
