  4. i'll be fishing the coosa river at the end of the month of march.is panfishing ok this early in the year?
  5. my friend lives on the coosa river near birm. and has a private inlet(slew?) on her property for there boat dock.her inlet goes in about 40 yards and is about 30 feet across.my ? is during the spawn do you think this is a good spot for spawning bass? i was planning on visiting her mid- april and was curious.....thanks

  11. was at my local lake last week.it is a tough lake to fish but all last week the bass were boiling on shad all day long along the shoreline.it was torture cause no one was getting any hits.we tried every shad type lure we had(spinners,minnows,traps,and cranks)just curious what works for users here when bass are busting like that?
  12. i usually like anything in chrome but have been killing lately with anything red with bleeding hooks.what colors work for you?

  18. thanks for replies and I'll check into these lures. where i fish there are mainly threadfin shad and crayfish with trout stocked in the winter
