thanks but i have another question would you ever by a revo s at all , my buddy is telling me to buy a pflueger asaro reel instead but the thing is he think the revo is smooth but they pflueger are more which one would u buy also does drag even count for the flipping or frogging or do you have to have a high drag like a 24 then a 15 drag max can ou explain to me please .

i was told by someone when you fish heavy cover like frogging you need a low speed reel like a 6.1 to horse out the big bass without stripping your gears , i also ask ish manroe on his website and i asked hey ish , I have a question for you what daiwa baitcating reel is better for frog fishing Daiwa Aggrest Casting Reels with a 7.3:1 or a daiwa exceler casting reel that 7.1:1 ? Or if you can tell me which one you use for frog fishing also the rod that you think is a great frog rod too ? and ish told me back on the forum I use the 6:3.1 Zillion for the reel and the Steez XBD 7ft 4in frog rod! the slower speed helps when you have 5lbs of Bass and 20 lbs of Grass! So i was wondering what a good gear ratio for flipping and frogging , I was going to buy a new pinnacle reel that i wanted but it on backorder till mid summer so my second opinion for a new reel was a Abu Garcia Revo s reel( 6.4:1) and the other reel was a pinnacle deadbolt slyder reel (7.0:1) that i was going to use for flipping when it come out so I am still going to buy both. But one i just have to wait on and one i going to buy now so my question is what can you fish with a 6.4:1 gear ratio . Also this would be my first one and don't know what to use it on really for ? but please do add in other reel you think are good for this style of fishing .

My first baitcaster reel was abu garcia 1003 LP it was free my other cousin gave me it for free it work fine then and still have it just retired it this year still works but sometimes disengage the spool :'( but i was look at a black max as a back up for my little cousin to use instead my expensive ones . The line i used was 12lb Berkley big game mono line in ( solar collector ) its easy to get out backlashes .

I was wondering from the people who tried the trokar hook are they the best hooks or not give stories or tips and opinions on the and tell me and everyone what you think of them ? At my local Grander Mountain they have 2 trokar hooks packs = $10 gift card or buy 2 get 1 free for Gamakastu hooks what do you think is a better detail too?

I kinda confused about some line weight for baitcasting rod . I was wondering if the rod says weight of line is recommanded for is 12lb -25lb of line aren't you supposed to follow that but i seen and heard alot of people are using 50lb braid , won't this break your rod in half because it not the right line weight that you need to use for the rod , I was told on a different forum that i should follow the line recommand on the rod but i went fishing an used 15lb braid on a rod that the line was recommand for only 8-12lb and it broke into 3 pieces the people on the other forum said it was to heavy of a line i used. so my true question is are you supposed to follow the line weight on the rod yes or no ? if you can give me answer that would be great becuz i was going to buy an abu garcia veritas 7'6ft medium heavy but the line weight is 12-25lb and i want to use 50lb braid for punchin will the rod break or not ? because the line weight is higher then the recommanded line weight that on the rod ?

I was wondering are these rod good for punching mats if so tell me what height and action you use for punchin ?

i second the heavyweight sink worm this bait is durable, they make them in a 4" ,5" 7" and even now they have the 7" thump heavyweight sinkworm that a paddle tail , but "I fished this 5" heavy weight sinkworm ( color Breen ) it was rigged wacky style with Gamakatsu Wacky Jig Head 1/8oz . I caught 5 largemouth bass on just using two worms only they have a great durability . I was watching Hank Parker show and he said you can use just one worm in this pack to save money . Just got my BASSTIMES magazine today look in it found something that will change berkley products for 2011 they show dick's sport goods ad in for 2011 products the have reel and bait but then there it was Berkley new bait and line - the new name brand is called Havoc and they had a package that looks awesome the bait in the package is a double tail grub , info shapes and design picked by Mike iaconelli ,Bobby Lane ,Gary Kline,and Skeet Reese . also i dont know if these are the lures name but i think they are devil spear,two timer,craw fatty ,and pit boss .
