Yozuri ultrasoft in 10 or 12 lb..

Had my Chonarch serviced a few weeks ago, and they replaced the drag with carbontex, under warranty.. The reel was only a year old, but the drag works much better now. A couple of friends that have Curado E7's replace the washer with carbontex before fishing them..Try a tackle shop..

I use the yozuri green mist..I catch fish with it, both fresh (bass) and saltwater.

I never throw them, however there was a guy next to me at the local park lake throwing chrome 1/2oz kastmasters..he got 2 bass, about 2lbs each, and kept them for dinner. Anyways..he was a using a steady med retrive. Things gettin tough at tri cities..?

I like to splitshot them..even tried them on a ds..lol So far the splitshot seems to work the best, use the lightes weight possible, cast it, let it sit..give a couple of small twitches every so often..

Try tossing a Huddlebug in there..

I have the golden shiner..haven't really fished much, since we have lots of weeds, anyways, haven't caught anything yet. I think the bait looks and swims pretty good..

I have both the zoom, and ragetail..I can tell you, without any doubt whatsoever..the ragetail has the BEST action, period. Flyline them over weeds..

I better STOP then...7'6" Shimano calcutta rod, line ..10-20, lure rating 1/2 to 1oz..I have thrown Matt's hardgill with that rod, and regularly throw 2-2 1/2oz baits all day long.. I really think it depends on the rod. I find some are under rated alott, some are close, and one that I know is over rated. Choose your weapons carefully.. ;D

Well, we always had running water, i.e. Plumbing, and from what I remember, a phone, and TV later on.. Born in 48..great time to grow up.. 8-)

Depending on the cast, you might be able to fish in a week or so...I've broken both of my wrist's, the right one twice. Once the pain went away, I trimed the inner part of the cast and went MC riding, tried to race, but the tech guys wouldn't let me.. Maybe a light spinning rig, for easy casting..?
