Can you put live bait on a carolina rig?

I try to keep the rods behind me if I'm flipping or pitching (which is 90% of the time) I keep five or six on the deck and like I said just keep them behind you and you will be fine. It's very convienent also.

I have had a problem with the 8" zoom lizards getting a solid hookset in because of how thick it is, but now i get a ewg 5/0 gama. and i put the point of the hook into a back leg instead of the actual body, and I can tell a difference in the bass that I catch off of it. They are usually pretty quality fish. ;D Big Baits= Big Momma's

Im gonna go to Bass pro tomorrow and get a couple of hard swimbaits and a couple of soft ones, just gonna keep them with me for that one kicker fish we always seem to need. :'( 8-) Thanks for the info guys, Good luck..

Oh okay, well in that case I would find the clearest, warmest water and throw something on top or maybe a spinnerbait with rattle..ya just never know. Cody J.

If I had to choose I would go to the 20' drop, only because the water temp. you mentioned. I would throw either a 3/8 or 1 oz jig, with a pretty small trailer..I would also want to know how the water color is? I hope this helps a little bit. Good luck and God Bless. Cody J.

I prefer the plastic trailers, just because I usually dip the trailers in some type of dye. ;D
