I've got a symetre on my tube rod, great reel. A friend of mine had two of the white stradics and they both had bail spring problems. The bail would automatically close mid cast screwing everything up. They have got that fixed on the new stradics.

I'm using a 6'6" med spinning rod with a 3000 stradic reel which works good for me. A buddy of mine is using a 6'6" lite casting rod and loves it. It casts a size 8 x rap really nice, it is lite enough to give the bait a good action but plenty enough backbone to fight a good fish. ;D

I have a code and it has been a good reel for me.but i do have to say it is hard to go wrong with a revo.

there are 4 wires coming from the battery.

We're in the process of upgrading electric motors fro a 12v 46# thrust motor guide to a 70# minn kota maxxum 12/24v. The boat is a bass tracker deep v16. The current receptacle is 4 prong and is wired for 12 or 24 volts. My question is will the plug from the old motor work for the new one or do i need a new plug and receptacle? Thanks in advance.

If the store has a carpeted area you could run the tip across that to check the sensitivity.

I would like to add that the tip heaviness isn't just with the mojo rods. Buddy of mine has a legend tournament 7' tube rod and that is as unbalanced as the mojo rod.

I have the 7' tube and grub spinning rod. i too found that the rod is tip heavy but i've found a solution for that. Bass pro sells balancing system called "The Balancer "it comes with three weights and the cap that goes over the butt of the rod.my rod used just one weight to balance it.

I'm using 2/0. Seem to be doing the job for me.

My worst time came from the lip busting of a x rap when i went to test my knot. I buried it deep in my thumb. I tried pulling it out myself but could quite do it. Luckily my mother was home i held my hand down and i had here pull the hook out with my leatherman. It was surprising that no real pain or blood come from that deal.

Picked one up today. You can't beat the deal.
