  25. Travel distance to nearest lake

    I have to go at least 60 miles to fish any kind of water, then again I live in the middle of the Mojave Desert about 90 miles as the crow flies from Death Valley CA. My nearest lake is Lake Isabella, I have to go from about 2200 feet elevation, over Walker Pass, 5525 feet elevation to get to it but its well worth the drive
